Unfortunately it does not contain “Y’all Are Brutalizin’ Me”
But it does explore what would happen if he was a horse (or hoarse)…
And yes I did remember a hair too late it’s called How High the Mountain (Ronnie’s Theme)

But at least my fence wood is moist!
When they’re broadcasting the show, there are plenty of times where a cast member or a prop is added or removed, and when the camera switches the audience laughs, despite the fact that they would have seen the set up. Are they instructed to try and only laugh at the monitors?
There are times when someone does laugh or acknowledge something before the camera switches but those are pretty rare so I have to imagine the audience is prepped beforehand. Anyone know exactly?
My buddy had just asked me the other day if I’d Seen To Live and Dir in LA(I have not) so it was serendipitous to come across the Shout Factory Blu Ray for a buck
2 bucks a pop for the DVDs is alright with me
The Spoon is new and I’ll always jump at some cheap, unexpected Lou
I got into the boys after joining the Rough Trade record club to get access to a Protomartyr 7”. Street Worms might have been the first record of the month I got, plus it came with the Shrimp Sessions CD and this signed card. Pretty lucky to have snagged this edition and been exposed to such a great band
Another great show! The two days I’m in town and there’s a late season snowstorm. Fortunately we made it just in time for the show. It was nice to see them perform The Former Site of, and I got to tell Kathryn how much we enjoyed the show as she graciously gave me John’s setlist. Now back to Michigan to see Bejar solo acoustic tomorrow! I am a lucky fella
April 27, 2026 @ El Club in Detroit. Great show with a good sprinkling of songs. We were right up front and El Club’s sound isn’t the best but my perception was that the sound was mixed more favorably for the new material since the more maximalist early stuff was kind of muddy, but we were not optimally placed for sound so who knows. Plus, I’d been waiting for a repress of The Slow Wonder for a long time so it was nice to finally pick that up
