I noticed this oily area around the right CV axle on my 2009 Acura TSX. Does this look like a leaking CV boot, axle seal, or possibly an engine oil leak?
I’ve also noticed the transmission jerks when shifting gears.
My engine uses about 1 quart of oil every 2,000 miles, so I’m wondering if any of this could be related. Any ideas?
My 09 TSX has 240k miles. It jerks when it shifts gears while driving. Sometimes it’s not too bad, sometimes it jerks pretty hard. I also get a clunk/bang when shifting from P to D or R.
ATF was changed last year. I just noticed this mount is ripped.
Could the bad mount be causing this, or does it sound like the transmission is going bad?
