Acquired this Enfield no.4 mk1 yesterday and I've been doing some digging but figured I'd come to the experts for insight!

All serial numbers I've found are matching except the butt-plate, the guy I got it from (70 years old) inherited it from his dad, and he did not know anything about it.

I plan on keeping this rifle for a long time and will hopefully hand it down to my son along with the rest of my collection one day. I'd appreciate any info that would help me understand more about this new addition to the family heirlooms

Picked up a Lee Enfield no.4 and a Kar98k today from my co-worker who didn't care much for them. Super stoked to get them cleaned up and added to the collection!

Like the title says, need help with getting some info on this new-to-me Kar98k that I picked up from a co-worker today. Mostly just interested in learning anything I can about it, not planning on selling or trading it.

Still need to clean it up but it's a really cool piece to add to my collection!

Co-worker is thinking about selling/transferring these guns to me as he is getting older and does not have any family who wants them. Shotgun looks like Mav 88, but I need help ID'ing the other two. He said they're chambered in .30-03 but I'm not sure if it's both or if they're different. I can get better pictures from him later if that helps.

Since so many of y'all were bent out of shape by my DROS paperwork post, here's the guns I got. Going to the range with 'em today, super stoked!

Saw this last night as my son & I were leaving the park, I usually do not take pictures of random strangers but this was a sight I did not want to forget 😂

Finished my online course this morning, decided to hit my qualifier before work to get it done. Was a bit nervous but I was patient with myself, moved at a steady pace and got it done.

Very proud of my shooting, especially since I only got a few hours of sleep. What's reddit think?

Edit: Forgot to add what I qual'd with - 9mm SA Hellcat. 3, 7 and 10 yards - 12 shots each.

Many such cases, I'm sure. Who else has gone in for one and left with two or more? (no more than 3 now though!)
