Is this normal? I barely use the rear camera (only when backing out) and I noticed the body of the camera feels hot (not scalding, but after wireless charging type of warm). Is it purposely like this to prevent fogging of the lens? Touch your camera after a drive and let me know if it also feels super warm to you. TIA!

I have some questions about how the adjustable regeneration, controlled by the paddle shifters:

  1. How does the regen work? Is it mechanical device that is built onto the motor?

  2. To me the highest setting is almost like using a lower gear in a manual transmission for engine braking. With that mindset, wouldnt it be better to use the conventional brakes to slow the vehicle down? After all, the brakes are a wearable item. If something wears out with the regen mechanism, isnt that a more costly fix?

  3. I feel like at highway speeds, the lowest setting (1 chevron) gives better range than the highest setting (4 chevrons). And the opposite may be true at lower speeds/city driving. What does everyone usually keep it at?

  4. Is there a way to permanently set it without having to manually switch it everytime the car is turned off?

TIA!
