I'm trying to get ahead, study and implement cursor/AI in my environment. I can create reports, i got a cool page that analyzes a query plan, but this is just simple stuff all DBAs can do. Im curious to se é what are you guys doing out there with AI in the database world.

When i ask for a listener ip for my aoag,my company already knows what is it. But if im new in a new company ,what do I need to explain " what is a listener ip"? I mean, behind thr scenes ,is it just an IP? Does it point somewhere in the ad?

Hey guys so i got the game during pre-order time, finished back in the days but since there was bo quick races and I HATE free roam on racing games, i just stopped.

After some years now ,i boot it up and restarted since campaign is fun but is there now a quick race more ? Like underground from ps2 where you select a track , a car , tune it and race or it's still just races that i need to be driving all the map from one race to another ,and can only tune Cars I own on campaign ?

Thanks, i didn't progress too much in the campaign again to see if something changed ( not a fan of online casual racing games since Meta was strong back in the days and i save my stress and a anxiety for gt7 and f1 online ).

Karting is so fun, but there's no gokart tracks. I would love some 5 tracks to have fun,i would even pay for it.

Do you guys do Karting,gt7 or real life? I try but i sux lol

Hello all, 11years SWL dba here or more, but something i could never find a perfect balance is, how to patch ?

In my current company we are 90% ec2 ( some 200 servers, half of them 3 or 4 aoag nodes ).

We are killing ourselves with Tanium, and creating scripts to automatically failover, etc etc.

Im curious what you guys do for patching AOAG servers that needs a failover.

Ive been playing since ever and can say i do well in all of them going always plat or whatever above the average rank level in games.

I think people want a PvE/Coop mode just because we like fun. I love the sponsored survival but meh, just a few botsherr and there and 16min to rush everything. Not the experience i expected.

I just hope Bungie understand that extraction shooter gets boring fast for casuals that like fun instead of hoarding items/farm the same spot the entire day.

Im not asking to remocerhe extraction mode, i love it but most of the times i want to shoot bots talking to wife , hearing music , you know, the old gaming fun we used to have. Not everything needs to be PvP.

So from the old games i remember aliens invaded the ship because of Durandal we would kick their asses. But what is the compiler doing in the 2026 marathon ship ?

Hello all. Im planning to start some Postgres study since my company is shifting to it. We are a giant tech, we have oracle sql Postgres informox across many teams , but it seems SQL became expensive ( yeah ) so they are moving to Postgres.

Im not excited losing my job so im trying to learn bit as always ,the beginning is super confusing .

Im going to study aurora, and since its more a RDS , what is close to SQL and what is different ?

Is th3 management the same as in SQL? Devs mebtion that Postgres is awesome ,but i jist could create an instance after 1 week (lots of permissions issues ).

Like backups , indexes,checkdbs, query tunning...is it all the same? Postgres people say yes, i thought its a little more complicated
