Tips studying Postgres by a 11years DBA

Hello all. Im planning to start some Postgres study since my company is shifting to it. We are a giant tech, we have oracle sql Postgres informox across many teams , but it seems SQL became expensive ( yeah ) so they are moving to Postgres.

Im not excited losing my job so im trying to learn bit as always ,the beginning is super confusing .

Im going to study aurora, and since its more a RDS , what is close to SQL and what is different ?

Is th3 management the same as in SQL? Devs mebtion that Postgres is awesome ,but i jist could create an instance after 1 week (lots of permissions issues ).

Like backups , indexes,checkdbs, query tunning...is it all the same? Postgres people say yes, i thought its a little more complicated

Honestly, you guys 150+ 250+ are a different kind of people

I have some 150hrs, im lvl 81...yesterday i saw a post about rushing UESC to get exp and i tried. I killed a LOT and not even half od the level bar moved.

No way you guys are 200+. There's something going obln

Do you guys think we will have the trailer map someday ?

I watched the trailer some 10x already . Perfect film , that map would be extremely awesome , huge desert like with those huge uesc buildings ...man every day I dream playing on this map.

This game is awesome. I hate extraction shooters ,but this one got my heart .

Ranks should be a natural addition to the base maps. It shouldn't split even more the playerbase, every run counts to your rank. Do whatever you want with it, go try hard, not care...your choice but split the playerbase to a sweat mode like this will not help our numbers.

Other than that, ranked is just a bet, i faced yellow guys on bronze, green guys on silver 1. It makes no sense.

Adding a natural rank to normal maps would "maybe" help with the SBMM that people want to much.

I had fun in ranked I'm not gonna lie, the thrill doing warden knowing people are coming for your tags is cool but, for me it's not worthy the stress for FOMO skins ( I just did because it's season1 and im not sure for how much time we will be here, and i love this game).

Im not sure if people like ranked, if im wrong please keeo it, but the times to find matches sre always bad, indicating low players on the queues.

I'm a casual guy, i want to have fun, but ranked made me more stressed than having fun.
