Installing Midea U airconditioner
Hiya!

I'm trying to figure out how to install the midea U-AC bracket into my window and I'm a bit confused... I have these double windows and they have a lip in the front only.
​
Do I need to install a piece of wood in front of the lip and in the center here for the cross bars? I'm guessing I shouldn't try to install them in the window tracks.
​
Or do I have to settle for a hose style air conditioner because I have double windows without a wall or anything in the center?
​
Any help would be appreciated!
