I agonized over choosing a new centerpiece and ended up leaving with not at all what I planned but thick lip gourami may be the cutest lil friend I’ve met in ages
He’s in a 29 with sawbwa resplendens and bronze corys
Hi! I’ve been researching for weeks now and literally feel like I cannot figure out what I want! My beloved betta died recently, and I miss her a lot and know I want someone who has a lot of personality the way she did, but I can’t handle a pet dying after 13 months again so was looking for more longevity! Tank mates are bronze Corys and a school of sawbwa resplendens I was waffling about keeping. It’s a 29 gallon, lots of plants emersed and planted, hardscape is wood and dragon stone, sand substrate. Would a pearl or thick lipped gourami be a good fit? I want a single of whatever one I get and am really open to suggestions!
I saw these two beauties at a LFS near me and love the sweet face of the first one! I’ve been reading and reading, does it make a huge difference getting one who is tiny vs a little bit more grown? My main goal is longevity I was recently devastated by the way too soon loss of my betta and really want a “pet” fish who will live longer
