identifying when to buy

How i usually buy a stock is that I think it's almost is at its lowest of few months and there's very less chance that's it will go further down and then buy it but sometimes it goes down and sometimes it just consolidates.what should I do?? and is it the right way to buy a stock????

This is my portfolio for about 5-6 months it's just there with no profits and I don't want to cash out in loss or for break even I want to make profits with swing trading but I'm unable to u have about 10k as funds I'm a beginner but not a complete beginner I know about basics and skme.what should I do?
