What does a serious commitment to the power play look like?

Let's say the Sabres decided to do everything they could to create the league's number one power play. What would that commitment look like -- what are they doing differently outside of actual games?

Which assistant coaches would they hire? What pedigree would that person have?

Which players would they bring in/offload?

How would video coaching or practice be any different than it is today in terms of time spent on PP activities, or different types of PP practice activities?

Who gets fired if things don't improve? (Think I know the answer to that one.)

All I know is that everyone blames Appert at the moment but that's not a prescription. What would we actually DO differently to make the team the absolute best in the league?

KEXP listeners in Guadalajara?

Hiya. My wife and I are long-time KEXP listeners, visiting Guadalajara this week from the SF Bay Area. If you're also a fan and around (living here or just visiting), want to grab coffee Monday at 5 p.m.? Café TBD, open to suggestions. Comment or DM if you're in.

A little more context: we're here exploring GDL as a possible place to relocate. KEXP's always been as much about community as music — 'you have friends everywhere' — so it struck me that 'also listens to KEXP' might be a better filter for who I'd click with than just 'also lives in this city' ... that's why we're trying this instead of just wandering around looking to bump into someone.

Not starting anything formal, just testing whether an informal KEXP meetup is a useful way to meet people while traveling.

Hey fellow crabbers -- I took my Hobie Mirage Passport 12 to Coos Bay, Orgeon a few years back and pulled some great Dungies from my kayak. (See video.) Now I'm selling it because ... sadly ... I'm not using it enough.

Would you like to have this beauty? Plenty of kayak pics here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/dHt554JgEbxhRLwq6

I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area (north bay). The problem is I've been too intimidated to do an ocean launch from the Bay, so it's mostly been sitting unused. Five total uses since 2021. It should go to someone who'll actually get after it.

Full package: Hobie Mirage Passport 12.0 fishing kayak, brand new MirageDrive unit (bought as a spare, never used), paddle, plus a cart, PFD. Hull is solid, with light rail scratching, no cracks. $1,400, Novato, cash or Zelle.

I'm happy to answer questions. And if this kind of post doesn't belong here, just say so.
