I keep thinking of getting something newer and more practical...

...but then I step on the gas and hear that 5 cyl growl, look down at the dash, and realize there's no other car I'd want.

Chicago is likely to have two Mayoral incumbents lose reelection back-to-back (Lightfoot 2023 & Johnson 2027)

Is there anyone in Chicago that could bring a return to the era of long tenures like the Daley dynasty? Or are those times gone?

Are 850s officially entering rare/vintage status?

I know that “rare” and “vintage” can have many different definitions, but at least here in the USA, I’ve noticed a precipitous drop in the number of listings online for 850s for sale. In 2020 I remember seeing tons for sale, including 900 series cars. Now, lucky to see one or two within 300 miles. Also never seeing one at the junkyard anymore when I need some rarer parts.

Is this indicative of the larger used vehicle market or a sign that a large portion of 850s are off the road due to hitting a critical age now at ~30+ years old.

I’m sure some Swedes will chime in saying they see tons of them but it’s not really fair haha

New feral cat anti-rat program?

Lions seem a bit overkill but whatever it takes I’ll support.

Do bus drivers get annoyed when the bike rack is used?

Mostly thinking of routes with very tight turns. I imagine extending the front of the bus would make some maneuvers difficult and thus they would be bothered if a bike is placed in front. Any drivers here able to chime in on your thoughts about the bike rack? Thanks.

Volvo V60 or Buick Regal TourX?

If you couldn’t tell, I’m looking for a wagon. 2018+ for either. Trying to find something comfortable and OK reliable (I don’t expect Toyota but don’t want Mercedes) I love how the V60 looks and is definitely luxury, but would the Buick be a bit step down in comfort? The Regal Tourx tends to sell for a bit cheaper for equivalent MY and mileage. Thoughts on longer term reliability too?
