K band in Orange County, CA

Recently got my Uniden R8W - is there any reason at all to have K band on in Orange County, CA? Seems like all I've picked up so far is your speed signs and false alerts, even with recommended K band filters. Not knocking the detector. The range and arrows are a crazy step up from my old R3, but just wondering if I can safely eliminate basically the only chatter I'm getting from the detector.

Help replacing this button?

New to me 2015 Mini Cooper S F56, how do I replace this set button? Has the JCW steering wheel if that makes a difference. Already got the other button(s) popped off very easily. Can't find anything online for this set button in like 10 minutes of googling. Anybody have any tips?

What pay can I reasonably ask for?

Hey all. I'm a front counter guy at a high volume CDJR in a HCOL area. I started at my dealership as a parts runner, was promoted to "wholesale counter person" about 3 months in, then maybe a month after that had a lunch meeting with my manager informing me that I'll be training for front counter to cover a coworker who took a month long vacation. Covered his vacation and was still learning, asking my manager quite a few questions. About a month after my coworker was back, the other front counter guy quit, and I've since took his spot. It's been about 3 or 4 months since I've been on the front counter, I'm now pretty confident and rarely run into something I need help with.

My question is what I can reasonably ask for as a target salary (or hourly + commission), as I'm due and my manager will be discussing it along with my promotion with our fixed ops director. Already told my manager in a professional way that I feel underpaid for what I do compared to those around me, and he acknowledged me and seemed to agree. I do front counter, wholesale, internal, due bills, and POs for various sublet services and one main service. I also do a very small amount of back counter for used cars. Any and all advice would be much appreciated!

Any reason not to close these two cards?

Recently approved for Fidelity rewards with a $500 limit, and a Capital One Savor with a $1000 limit. I got the fidelity to have a 2% catch all and the capital one to get 3% back on entertainment. Those were two glaring holes that would fit my spending.

I recently requested a CLI on the capital one and was immediately denied, and requested one on the fidelity and have yet to hear back. I just got my fidelity in the mail along with a letter stating my score was a 703. I'm assuming my balances were a little high when I applied for both cards as I've had some big purchases recently.

Currently have a 740ish FICO 8, and score is around there across every service I can check it with. I have a CFU with a $3,800 limit, CSP with a $9,600 limit, and an AMEX BCE with a $14,400 limit.

Should I not just close these capital one savor and fidelity rewards, give it some time, and go with an alternative for each? Honestly feel a little insulted being given such low limits.

Leather repair recommendations?

Hoping to get a recommendation for leather repair, towards south OC would be best. It's a purse strap loop that is pretty small, maybe half an inch long and I'm probably even overshooting it. I asked a family member and they mentioned going to a shoe cobbler...?
