Early morning ride

Awesome ride with the Omw Gladius starting at 6:30 am.

Noticeable : I was kinda attacked by a quite a big badger who maybe thought I was some kind of animal because of the screaming motors...

This board is such a playful machine, I knew for several months I would eventually buy it.

First time I buy a second board from the same brand, my pattern was :

Ownboard w2 > backfire zealot > B-One Balrog X > Omw Cavalry > Omw Gladius.

It's only my second ride with it but the quality of the build is stunning.

The last time I had ridden such a small board was about 7 years ago with the Elwing Nimbus but adaptation is super fast.

Merci.

Job commuting

Another great spot for longboarding near my new working place...

The circuit around the lake is about 40 km, I'll do it soon, that's for sure.

Balrog X still working well

After 16 months using exclusively my cavalry, my B-One Balrog X was kinda getting dusty.

I fully charged it (because it didn't take that much time, I guess the board was stored at about 70% battery during this whole time) and was kinda scared it couldn't work anymore.

But it did work! Just completed a 26 km ride (3/5 bars still but probably about 45 battery left). The board has overall 2200km.

Battery: Samsung 50S 21700 12S3P 15Ah 666Wh

Some points :

- the Balrog X is very playful even with TKP, a pleasure to ride this board again. The concave of the deck is close to perfection.

- screws / bolts are really awful quality : brands, if you read this, it's a more important point that you might think.

- After over than 2000km on mad wheels 105, I felt kinda clumsy at the beginning on these 100mm Boa wheels : you can't go fast on a shity road. Mad wheels are a game changer.

- like the cavalry, the Balrog X is a flexible deck and I will always search for this kind of deck : a stiff deck will always be a no-go for me. I hope the brands will keep releasing flexible boards in the future.

Cavalry in Aix-les-bains

After moving to another city, I found this awesome cycling path that brought me to the lac du Bourget.

A sporty cyclist guided me to get outside the other city and get to this path (thank you)

Despite the snow on the mountains, summer is already there (27°C)

It has been such a pleasure to ride this beautiful valley.

It's called "le Grésivaudan"

Life is sending me somewhere else, close to the mountains as well.

Hopefully I'll find magic roads over there too...

Strange fact : during these 3 years I've never met a single rider in this place.
