We didn't have any cats. We do however have other animals and 3 tortoises. Both of these kittens are "tortoise shell" kittens...CDS works in mysterious ways. π
"Calypso"
Split-faced Dilute Tortie
July 10th, 11:30 pm
My husband was about to pull in at work and Calypso was in the middle of the road. She stayed there with him while he worked for 3 hours and then he brought her home! We took her to the vet that following Monday. She finished her course of medications and is doing very well. Parkouring around the house! Lol so much energy!
"Mochi"
Split-faced Torbie (Tabby/Tortie)
August 10th, 6:30 pm
Mochi was on our main street by our house standing in the road, in the rain. My brother-in-law was hurrying home on his motorcycle and saw her. He quickly scooped her up and brought her home. He called us to see her, and my mother-in-law ended up walking over with her. The second I looked at that baby... I grabbed her, I'm like "I'm keeping her"! Lol. She has also been to the vet and is still taking her medication.
I can't wait for the 2 to meet. Hopefully they will love each other. They're only about 4 weeks apart. The vet said that these kittens were each 4 to 5 weeks old when we got them.
My son and daughter-in-law went there yesterday and took this awesome picture. They're so cute! π₯°
I had a big 9-ft umbrella in the ground and removed it. Well I went to go put it back in the hole, this little guy was in there... Basically, it's his home now. π
Looking like a gulf coast toad.
3 weeks after the CDS gave us Calypso, a dilute tortie.....This one showed up! Lol Now we have 2 babies. ππ. I couldn't say no to this face!
We love seeing your tortoises, turtles, and terrapins! π’
Today, we want to give everyone a chance to show off the other pets you take care of and love.
Drop a picture or video of your non-shelled family members in the comments below! πΎ
They are such amazing creatures, I stare at them everyday. I love all of them so so much! π₯°
It's ridiculously hot outside and lately the carpenter bees have been resting in my hibiscus flowers, which I normally feed to my tortoises.
I leave them for the bee buddy's now. π π
Calypso was found in the middle of the road at 11:30 p.m. She was estimated to be about 4 to 5 weeks old. We've had her for 2 weeks so far and she's super sweet and likes everyone that she meets. She goes on car rides with us and all the girls in the Drive-Thru love her. We've decided to keep her. π₯°
I don't know where he's going, but he's going!
Yes this video has been sped up. π
She always heads straight to the rocks to sunbathe.
