When we think about an American locomotive engineer, most of us typically think of the larger guy from the Polar Express that swallowed the cotter pin. It’s not in accurate, but that hasn’t been the uniform case.

I’m curious what early American engineers looked like – specifically during the Civil War. I always remembered seeing recreations of engineers wearing the standard overalls, but they would have a flannel type shirt underneath, but I don’t know if that’s the case or not.

How would you rank Cincinnati as a tourist destination?

What would you give it out of 10, and why? I’m curious what people think the city does especially well for visitors and where it could improve.

if you look at the 89 through 90s Batman films, a good chunk of memorable pop songs were produced in conjunction with the films, such as hits from Prince as well as Seal.

Whenever you hear “Trust” or “Kiss from a Rose” you get hit with nostalgia. We see this a tad with them including “Something in the Way” for The Batman but that’s not necessarily pop or written for the movie.

Do you think fans would welcome a return of modern pop music in a Batman movie or people lose their minds?

I’ve grown up with O gauge my whole life but I moved into a smaller space and I’ve tried multiple times to design a switching layout for O gauge track but I would need 12 feet to make it work.

Needless to say it can be done in my place, but I’ve been looking at smaller options. If I could do about half of that with HO, it would be worth exploring.

Does anybody have any stories about primarily having one scale and then going to another?
