I, for one, am intrigued the Clippers got off scot-free. In a good way

The Clips had Windows cash, but we’re working with Disney money, which is basically invisible. We could easily sign a full roster to vet mins and still end up with three All-Stars on the floor. I'm just saying if everyone already views us as the evil organization, we might as well lean into it and enjoy the perks.

Question on Donatello's relationship with Splinter

Is Donatello the most emotionally mature one in Splinter's eyes? Donnie seems to be the one who gets a lot of intellectual and emotional leeway from Splinter. Leo requires leadership guidance. Mike and Ralph require a lot of maturity and emotional attention respectively. Donnie questions their existence in the second movie and Splinter has maybe 50% of the answer with the canister, but outside of that interaction it seems Splinter lets Donnie do his own thing. Or am i missing something or overlooking their engagements?

I wonder if it’s less about Donnie being "most mature" and more about Splinter trusting Donnie’s method of processing the world.

The Lion King and immigration. Hear me out.

Autismo on. Mufasa’s rule relied on a strict "contributor-only" policy that kept the Pride Lands stable. Scar, however, opened the borders to his hyena allies, whose consumption quickly overwhelmed the kingdom's resources. When resources dwindled, Scar scapegoated the lioness hunters for failing to sustain the invaders, leading to ecological collapse. Simba’s eventual return restored order by removing this parasitic influence. While often compared to Hamlet, the story is better viewed as a cautionary tale about the necessity of civic contribution and the dangers of abandoning societal standards for populism.

Thoughts?

I hope they have the happy ending

Paris of Troy caused the entire war, and honestly, Troy got what it deserved. That’s one thing about the Troy movie that really sucked, they knew Paris was scum, but they still tried to force him into being the good guy. Even Hector couldn't stand him. Meanwhile, they turned my boi Menelaus into a total one-dimensional villain, completely ignoring the fact that Paris literally stole his wife and his treasury. I just wanted Menelaus to get the happy ending he actually gets in the actual mythology. Also, you can see Helen in there.
