Just received a blind box doll package yesterday and it's none other than Neon Cream from the Guardian 1000% blind box BJD series by MiraLabs.

She is 1/6 scale, with rooted hair and printed-on face instead of having inset eyes and is a bit shorter than Don't Touch my Bangs.

This is the same company that made Don't Touch My Bangs and you guessed it--the body is strung kind of loosely but it's nothing a bit of restringing can't fix as I restrung my Don't Touch My Bangs Doll.

If that's a deal breaker for you, then I suggest you don't get a doll from this series.

Apart from that, I love the cute painted-on face I love how it looks drawn on.

Her outfit definitely reminds me of 90's to early 2000's magical girls.

I posted pictures of four of my generic anime-style dolls form Shoppee before and I decided why not introduce the rest of the family to y'all?

I didn't post them before because they weren't in the best of condition and I have yet to buy new clothes for them so they look good as new.

I've had these dolls since 2021-2022 and they are in need of a lot of TLC. 🤣

These are very cheap, and I don't know the original cast of thse dolls at all.

Saw a video from the Kikagoods YouTube channel unboxing this set and I just thought they were totally my style. Went to browse Shoppee to look for a listing of it for much much lower prices (since I live in Southeast Asia) as well as the specific doll I want and lo and behold I found one for a reasonable price.

The style of the doll itself looks like it comes from the same company that made the Don't Touch my Bangs series.

Now debating whether I should get one on my next paycheck because they're so cute...I especially want the pink one.

This doll came with very loose joints and stiff legs due to the aluminum wiring inserted in them so I took it apart and bought 2 mm elastic to restring her, remove the aluminum wires and she poses so much better now!!

I heard this blind box doll line is infamous for being strung so loosely so I'm glad she moves so much smoother now!

Now I kinda want to get her a sister from the same series but ahhh my wallet is screaming for help!!!

I got the first three off Shopee knowing what variation I will get while the last one in blue I bought in person, not knowing what I would get so that one was a surprise which is why she sticks out from the pink collection. 🤣

I can't believe I got these dolls for so cheap for like almost 6 dollars apiece for the quality you get with them. These dolls are mechanical-jointed, with hollow bodies, rooted hair and inset eyes and most of all--an anime style face which I absolutely love 💝💝💝💝

I always display these four together because in my head, both pairs are a couple.

Do you have some generic unbranded dolls too that you love?

The bodies are strung really loosely and are difficult to pose. I'm thinking about restringing this doll so it can hold up poses better. Any restringing tips?

As soon as I clocked out of work I immediately rushed back home upon learning she was delivered to my doorstep!!! She is so adorable!!!! She looks even better in real life. 😍 though my only problem is the headdress doesnt stay on very well so I secured it in place with a clear rubber band behind the ears instead.

Lately I've been seeing this particular brand of blind box BJD all over my Twitter feed as well as my Shoppee suggestions and I think they're absolutely cute. I also really love it when anime-style dolls come with rooted hair. I really want this one, the maid catgirl in the photo Im a sucker for pink and cats!! So adorable! 💝💝💝

Body is strung pretty loose and the eyebrows are drawn over with markers but it is pretty hefty and looks to be made of solid resin! For me it looks like a volks super dollfie but im not sure.

Didn't buy it though because I'm pretty superstitious about second-hand dolls whose owners you dont know. Perhaps in somebody else's hands, this could be customised into a really pretty doll!!!

I got a new blind box doll!!! These things are so addictive!!! And I fall for them every single time especially as a lover of all things cute!!!

I got these anime-style dolls from shopee (a southeast asian online selling platform) 4 years ago for what would be like 18 USD each. They're mechanical-jointed, made of hollow plastic and have inset eyes and I bought them new clothes too better match my aesthetics. Anyway, I think they're still so adorable despite being such a cheap find.
