Can I keep my Medicaid if I start then stop a job?

I’m in Missouri, and am looking for advice desperately. I’ve been unemployed since mid May and my partner has been taking care of things, but he recently lost his job and I had to find one. I am supposed to start full time on the 29th but because it’s a warehouse job it of course puts me over the income limit. Unfortunately before my partner lost his job I was scheduled for a hysterectomy on sept 14th, and I really really need it for pain. I’m wondering if I just work the first 2 weeks and take my medical leave that I could keep my Medicaid until I return back to work. If I work only the 2 weeks I’ll stay under the income threshold but I’m still worried they’re gonna see how much I worked before the surgery and assume that’s how much I’ll work every week and say that I won’t be eligible due to how much I’ll make when I return full time. Or that because I was hired full time I’m ineligible on day 1 of starting the job, that’s what I’m worried about the most. I’m allowed to take leave that early into starting but it’s unpaid, so I figured maybe that would help me stay eligible to at least cover the surgery until I can figure things out. But I’m really lost and I don’t want to push my surgery back, and go through the process of losing my Medicaid again because they were a pain about giving it back to me last time.

First session today

I had my first session today on the starting dose. I was really nervous beforehand because I’ve dissociated previously on weed and it freaked me out. I was able to handle the spravato and not freak out, but it was VERY intense. I asked if I could just do one instead of two next time but they said that we can’t. They said next session the dose is upped and plateaus after that, so I guess I will go back and try once I get to the plateau to see if it gets better, but in the meantime I’m wondering if there’s any specific advice to help it not feel so intense? The nausea was bad too but they’re going to give me a prescription to take beforehand next time instead of halfway thru. If there’s a way to not have it be so strong I would prefer that. I was able to manage but man it was a lot

Update: Kitten staying in trap over weekend?

Hi all! I got great advice on my previous post about a kitten I trapped to bring inside with the mom I took in. I got a big kennel for it to rest in until I can get it scheduled to be fixed. Likely won’t get in until mid week so I definitely didn’t want to keep it like that for like 5 days. It did NOT like when I transferred it but it was more a vocal protest than anything. It didn’t swat or try to bite, just told me it’s business. Once it sees mom laying down chilling it quickly follows suit. I think it’s a boy but not 100% sure as every time I try to look it sits or turns away lol. Thanks for all the help!

Took in this mama kitty who lived outside my apartment. Need help with her name!

Options for mama are:
-Matilda
-Lucille
-Octavia
-Nora
-Clementine
-Maude
-Mable
I’m open to more suggestions tho! (I’m personally biased towards Maude atm 👀)

Kitten staying in trap over weekend?

I recently brought in a cat to be fixed and had planned to let her back out when done healing but we decided to keep her. She had a kitten out there, maybe 4 months so I didn’t wanna leave it. I trapped it last night but the place I need to take it to to get fixed isn’t open again until Monday and it may be too last minute for me to bring it in on that day. However it’s so skittish I don’t feel comfortable letting it out until then because it’s gonna hide and wedge itself somewhere I just know it. Will it be okay waiting in the trap a couple days? I hate to stress it even more
EDIT: cats are calm, I’m seeing belly from the baby so a great sign of comfort! Baby will be transferred to a larger kennel until operation is scheduled :)

I recently movedto a street right off Kearney and have noticed a couple times, including tonight, people sitting along the road as if there’s a parade happening. Today I saw all the fancy cars. Do they do like a car show on Saturdays? Or racing? Just curious
