i like twinks overall and think she’s one of the only housemates with a reasonable level of intelligence, communication skills and compassion. yet there’s two things i can’t shake

1. maybe it’s just bad edits but she doesn’t strike me as a person, she comes across as an ideology instead. she’s constantly just regurgitating the same social media soundbites any gen z will be more than aware of. it’s hard to feel like she actually genuinely has any of her own opinions. the cherry on top is her claiming she got her knowledge from books, instead of an instagram post

2. her behaviour towards Pauline was incredibly creepy and predatory. regardless of what Pauline’s sexuality actually is, Pauline has said herself she hates labels and boxes, and that she’s straight. despite this, Twinks had taken it upon herself to flirt with Pauline, push her boundaries, and claim to give her “gay panic”. so much for being respectful towards other people’s identities, or not assuming someone’s sexuality….

Hi, I've just finished University. I have prior internship experience in Investment Banking, but I'm looking to brush up my modelling skills (3-statement models, DCF, LBO) before re-entering the industry.

I have a MacBook, but was wanting a second-hand reliable laptop that runs Windows 11 solely for Excel, building relatively straightforward models (nothing crazy, think very entry-level), and practising Excel shortcuts. Any recommendations please? My maximum budget is £250/$300, and I'm more than happy with refurbished models.
