What's the perfect size for a first UGC Creator Network? (Quality vs Quantity)

As the title suggests, we’re a macOS consumer brand currently building a UGC creator network, and we’re debating what the ideal size for such a network would be.

In my opinion, having a carefully selected, smaller team of creators who I (I'm responsible for talent scouting) genuinely see potential in is better than hiring as many people as possible just for the sake of volume.

That’s why we’ve come to the conclusion that, since we’re still in the early stages, starting with a team of around 5–6 creators would probably be best. Right now, we are still lacking of two creators but as soon as we got them, it would allow us to properly test the campaign and then either reduce or expand the team based on its performance and the data we collect.

We’d love to get a second opinion on this, so feel free to share your thoughts or any past experience you have with building or being part of a creator network!

how to fix this?

I have a MacBook Pro 25/26 and this keeps happening when I want to play the BMC4 Forge (1.20.1 v60) modpack, how do I fix this / what do I need to change? I tried following the instructions the crash report gives me but they're confusing and I didn't play mc for too long of a time to understand them.. can someone help me?

EDIT: same/similar happens when I try playing other modpackt such as Deceased Craft.

EDIT: modpackt like All you can Create Aeronautics seem to work (NeoForge)

Major content differences BMC4 / BMC5

i‘m aware that there exist lots of posts about the question whether BMC4 / BMC5 is better but for me it really depends on the content difference.

can someone tell me the major mod differences? i'm thinking about dragons, backpacks, weapons/armor variety, dimensions, vanilla 1.20/1.21 features and other major parts of the modpack..

thanks!!

context: i want to play together with my friend :)

When should I stop waiting?

Context:

Two days ago, I posted in multiple subreddits saying that I’m looking for UGC creators who meet specific requirements. I received around 15 emails directly from those Reddit posts, and I also reached out to another 15 creators whom I scouted on social media.

I’m looking for 5–7 creators to form a creator network and help scale my consumer app. Ideally, I want to start onboarding them this Friday so the first batch of content can be published next Monday.

Question:
Around five creators who I think could be a good fit have replied and are ready to be onboarded. However, almost ten other creators who I also think could be a good fit haven’t replied yet.

How long should I wait for responses from the creators who haven’t replied?

I want to make sure I build the strongest creator team possible, but at the same time, I don’t want to wait too long because speed and momentum are extremely important in our case.

EDIT: Or should I onboard the ones already ready and eventually do a second onboarding with these that reply in the next few days?

Pitch me YOUR app (idea) and I'll RATE it from 1-10 with explanation.

You heard me, pitch me the app (idea) you're currently working on and I'll do my best to rate it on a scale from 1-10 with an explanation as detailed as possible.

If you want to make my life easier: only explain things relevant for the rating and drop a link of the website.

This app let's you undetectably read notes off-screen in meetings and calls

A last-minute presentation. A spontaneous, important pitch. And nowhere near enough time to memorize everything.

I've been in that situation myself.
You know what you want to say, but the pressure makes it easy to lose your train of thought, skip an important point or sound less confident than you actually are.

Traditional notes do not solve the problem particularly well either. When they are placed beside your laptop or stuck around the screen, people can often tell that you are reading. Your eye contact disappears, and the conversation immediately feels less natural.

That problem is what led my friend and me to build CueNotch!

CueNotch is an Al teleprompter for macOS that uses the area around the MacBook notch to display your notes close to the camera. It automatically adjusts the scrolling speed based on how quickly you speak, helping you stay on track while maintaining more natural eye contact.

That was our original idea, the MVP. Since then, we've already added:

• An Al script editor that checks and improves your text before a presentation
• Live feedback, such as reminders to slow down or pause
• A memorization tool for people who prefer to learn their script properly
• Screen-share invisibility, so the interface remains private during calls

We have features, no other competitor has.

We are the best teleprompter app on the market, so if you are able to find a feature that others have and we don’t, we'll add it within 7 days.

Our goal is not to make presentations feel scripted.
It is to give people a safety net when the stakes are high and preparation time is limited.

We also decided against the usual SaaS subscription model. CueNotch is available as a ne-time purchase, with
a three-day free trial that includes
access to all features.

We're still improving the product and value real user feedback, so l'd be interested to hear how other founders and professionals currently prepare for important presentations or pitches and how they could use such product like CueNotch!

I won’t dive into my background and some other details, as they’re not really necessary, but I need your opinion on whether my startup idea is realistic and, if so, whether it could become a unicorn (get funded, make it past Series A, high valuation, etc.):

I’ve been working on a startup idea and would love some honest feedback.

The observation: most companies massively overpay for SaaS. They’re on the wrong plan, paying for seats nobody uses, or still getting charged for tools they stopped using months ago. Research shows that almost 50% of SaaS spending is wasted on these kinds of issues, millions of dollars each year.

My idea is an AI that is deeply integrated and connected with your software stack (imagine it as a vending machine and the AI as the human managing the supply, etc.) and handles this automatically. It watches usage patterns across all your tools, predicts what you’ll actually need next month, and then makes the changes: downgrades idle plans, upgrades ahead of demand spikes by looking at marketing campaigns, etc., and cancels subscriptions that aren’t being used. The goal is that you never have to think about subscription management again.

I’m thinking of a network of specialized agents: one for monitoring usage, one for predictions, one for executing changes, one for logging every action (what changed, why, cost difference), and one that periodically checks whether a tool is actually generating value for the team.

The pricing model I have in mind is performance-based: 15% of whatever money gets saved, charged monthly. If it doesn’t save you anything, you don’t pay. The percentage could potentially vary depending on how much the company saves.

The part I’m most uncertain about is the auto-execution side, because most SaaS vendors don’t expose APIs for changing your subscription, so full automation might not be realistic for every tool. One way around that could be starting with a “one-click approval” flow where the AI recommends the action and the user just confirms it, but that would kind of destroy the moat.

I’m curious what you think: does this solve a real problem and could it be a "million-dollar idea"? Or is the prediction and execution side too hot to actually be wanted by companies? Am I missing something?

EDIT: would the auto-execution problem be solved if the AI would be vertical and in a specific niche where all of the softwares getting used have billing APIs?
