>Playing devils advocate here but you all may need more context. There is a drone show that the Peru army organized for them and Jimin’s birthday. The park/mall is across from the hotel(s) area. It was organized and announced a while ago. Also this is a super popular tourist spot and today is a holiday in the country so there is a good chance not everyone in that video is army.

I love this because it is so annoying when people keep demanding they speak english. And it happens A LOT on reddit with people discussing their pronunciation and making fun of idols that don't speak perfect english or are still struggling to learn.

I'm also amazed by the amount of fans that complain about idols singing in english when they don't speak it. Everyone knows there is industry incentive to do this, to help them reach a bigger audience. It is not arrogance to perform songs in english and not learn the language. There is a big difference in learning one song and being able to have full conversations. I spent years just being able to sing songs in english before really talking to others - just like a lot of fans can sing songs in korean but would not be able to speak the language.

I read this and found the way he spoke about Jin singing really interesting. I've always felt like one of his best qualities is how well he emotes in songs, I can feel what he is singing about. His statement made me think of Abyss right away.
