It’s obvious that this team is exceeding expectations. .500 baseball through 50 games is far better than any of us were thinking and it’s due to our incredible offense (though it’s also in spite of our awful pitching).

My (maybe) hot take is that we should not make any moves at the trade deadline whatsoever except for this: we have an absurd amount of middle infielder depth in our farm system that can be traded for impact pitchers. We’re not losing anything this season by trading prospects, and we have so much to gain from improving our pitching even a little bit.

Bottom line is that we don’t need to trade CJ or anybody else at the MLB level right now. The concept with this roster is working and we should keep exploring that.

I am looking for your local recommendations of where to find a good traditional breakfast that includes soft boiled eggs, cheeses, breads, etc.

Google search has not been helpful and I have not seen any posts calling out soft boiled eggs - but if I missed them please link them. Thank you!
