I built 81 design skills for Eve agents

Hey everyone!

I built about 81 design skills that you can use with Even agents and give them a visual direction by using locally tested markdown files based on this format:

  • SKILL.md
  • buttons.md
  • navbar.md
  • alerts.md

These will give your agents consistent design system instructions so the UI that they will generate will always stay within those parameters. You can preview the skills and how they would generate the UIs here:

https://www.typeui.sh/design-skills

I also wrote a guide on how you can integrate with Eve agents:

https://www.typeui.sh/docs/guides/eve

Aaaand it's also available on Github:

Thanks for checking it out!

I built a tool for Hermes to help you build better UI

Hey guys and gals.

I built a tool (https://www.typeui.sh/docs/guides/hermes) that helps you let your Hermes agents build better UI by using design skills that lets you build UI in a certain style.

It automatically installs a collection of markdown files that will:

And then websites generated by your Hermes agent will look like one of the skills that you select from the website.

It's also on Github:

I built a tool to create BRAND.md

Hey everyone!

I built an interface that lets you generate and set up a BRAND.md file that you can use with Antigravity or other AI tools to transfer the brand identity of a project.

I believe this is a useful markdown file to be used in addition to the DESIGN.md format created by Google a few months ago.

Check it out:

Thank you!

I built a BRAND.md generator with Claude

Hey everyone!

I built an interface that lets you generate and set up a BRAND.md file that you can use with Claude or other AI tools to transfer the brand identity of a project.

Check it out:

https://www.typeui.sh/create/brand-kit

You can save as:

  • PNG
  • SVG
  • BRAND.md

I built 449 free prompts to generate UI that actually converts

hey everyone!

I am the founder of TypeUI and I'm excited to let you know that we launched 449 prompts that you can use to generate website sections and layouts that will actually convert

so how are these different from just telling Claude:

"build me a pricing section"?

these prompts have been built based on our older project called Flowbite, which is a design system used by over 30 million projects globally - so this gave us enough data and experience to understand what type of sections actually convert

so if you use these layouts, then sections that you build, for example pricing sections, will already have built-in instructions and positions for the elements to be where they can convert the most

there are also 3 big categories:

  • marketing
  • application
  • e-commerce

we built these and tested them locally with Opus, but it should work with less token-heavy models too like Sonnet

check them out here:

https://www.typeui.sh/prompts

this will give you automatic access to all prompts without having to browse them in the website and copying them one by one

thanks for checking it out!

Cursor HTTP Streamable via oAuth server not working anymore

Since yesterday there have been issues with my remote MCP servers when logging in via oAuth. These same servers work fine with other MCP clients like Codex or Claude.

Anyone else having these problems? It appeared after updating Cursor last night.

I built a tool that you can use with Codex, Claude or Cursor to build better UI

Hey everyone!

I've been on a mission for the last 4 months to create a tool that can make you ship UI for websites and applications that:

  1. Doesn't look like slop
  2. Actually converts
  3. Is accessible
  4. Is unique

I believe the video explains the tool pretty well and you can use this in your favourite AI tool like Claude, Codex, or Cursor.

Thanks!

I built an MCP server for design systems

Hey everyone!

I built an MCP for registering design systems for AI.

AI likes markdown and natural language, so the new format for the design systems is a collection of markdown files such as:

  • brand.md
  • buttons.md
  • typography.md
  • cards.md
  • ... etc

The steps are pretty simple, you can import:

  1. One of our predefined design skills as themes
  2. Bring your own SKILL files in a ZIP
  3. Import via Figma (this is still in beta preview)

Then our algorithm will select the best token and variable candidates for each markdown file. You then get a draft proposition for the markdown files which you can review, change, add, or remove from them

After you hit publish, this design system will be available to all of your AI tools like Codex, Claude, Cursor, Grok Build, and others through our MCP server.

Then all you need to do is just write the AI:

> Hey AI, what design systems do I have? > Okay, let's install that one. > Build me a landing page. > Give me three more pricing variations. > Actually, let's also explore more hero sections.

Our MCP server not only brings together the design system for your projects, but we also have a proprietary database of layout and UI resources and prompts that will automatically suggest the best pages, sections, and element positions.

You can get the MCP from here:

I built a connector for Mistral to improve UI generation

Hey everyone! :)

Today I built an integration for Mistral AI for an MCP server that will automatically suggest a design system, UI UX fundamentals skill file and a database of over 300+ curated prompts to generate better UI websites and applications.

Basically you can choose a theme from here:

https://www.typeui.sh/design-skills

And just tell Mistral:

"Hey Mistral, I want to use the Bento style and build me a landing page".

I hope you like it and thanks for reading!

I built a collection of 132 UI design prompts to build layouts like hero sections, pricing, FAQ, and more

Hello again!

I'm the same guy who launched the design skills for Claude on Reddit about 2 months ago and I am super thankful for all the support. Since then, we added more resources.

Today I want to present to you a collection of UI prompts that we started to release based on our experience of 15+ years in the UI/UX area and based on a design system that was used by over 30 million projects (Flowbite).

These prompts are agnostic to styles and they will only instruct your AI for the positioning of the elements: whether you want hero sections, pricing layouts, FAQ sections, this is a place where you can search for something based on CONTENT and LAYOUT.

The cool thing is that you can combine this with any other design skills, because those only instruct the AI for things how they look.

We add about 20-30 new prompts every day right now and we'll keep adding more parent categories to build more complex stuff too such as chart types, maps, tables, and more.

Thank you!

Hello everyone!

My first submission to the plugin marketplace has been finally reviewed and published! It's a free plugin that uses a local algorithm to extract the styles from the local working space and automatically generates DESIGN.md and SKILL.md files that you can use with other AI tools.

u/elwingo1 — 2 months ago

Hello designers!

Figma reviewed and published a plugin that I've been working on and what it does is pretty simple: using a local algorithm, it scans the current Figma workspace and generates a DESIGN.md file (or SKILL.md) that you can later use with other AI tools or share with your developers.

The plugin doesn't connect to any external API so you can even use it offline and it's open-source so the code can be viewed to make sure it does not do any shady things in the background.
