Any recommendations for a good place to order a pho takeout?

Why that when I start Positron, It takes more than a minute for the R session to start. While when I open R from the windows terminal or the Rgui it starts instantly?

Windows 11, R 4.6.1, latest Positron version

My brother is visiting home country for first time and my mother wants to send gifts for relatives.

I suggested something Canadian like maple syrup?

Any ideas for gifts that are not super expensive (a lot of relatives 😅) but has a Canadian identity?

Thinking of printing and cutting a few stickers on matte vinyl with removable adhesive (laptop stickers)

The online stores are very expensive if you’re not ordering in bulk.

For city roads and paved trails

Do you think a one-day trip from Kitchener to Montreal and then spend the day in Montreal feasible? enough time to see some of the landmarks in Montreal? Probably after the August long weekend.

Any tips or ideas are appreciated.

I live in a condo apartment building and to enter the building and reach elevators from the parking garage you have to open four heavy doors. Only the last door that leads to the elevators has an accessible door button.

Is that legal? I see the elderly people struggle with the doors. True that they are able to drive but some use walkers and some really struggle when they bring groceries or take the recycling out.

Is there any way to complain anonymously? To whom? And would the complaint change anything?

Are there any parking lots in campus that are free on weekends

Today was my first swimming class, and we practiced front and back glides.

Whenever I push off with my legs and glide, my body slowly tilts to the left until I’m completely on my left side of my body. during both front and back glides, and I can’t seem to stay balanced.

Am I doing something wrong? I’m left-handed, if that makes any difference.
