Seed oils

What is with this growing hatred towards seed oils, why should we stop eating them?
The majority of UPFs and many vegan alternatives here in the UK contain either sunflower or rapeseed oil.
My understanding is that it’s the refining process to extract the oil that can cause health issues as solvents and/or chemicals are used throughout the process and not the seed himself.
Cold pressed oils are extracted through literally squeezing the seeds. Nothing is added or taken away so this has to be a healthy, right? It’s also better for the environment and a home grown British alternative to olive or avocado oil (the most detrimental to the planet).
Other than the so called health influencers spreading this shit, I literally can not find one piece of evidence that supports their madness!
Do we have an expert among us that can settle this once and for all? Tia

SAY IT LAD

Update - Jonny, the founder of Say it Lad has reached out and it’s 100% legitimate.
I keep seeing this charity getting mentions around the city, BunX are big supporters as they often use their name in posts and I think it’s also on crew T’s.
Anyway, it looks like a great idea, mental health platform for males to leave confidential messages and listen to those from others as a sign you’re not alone. I like supporting local initiatives and when conducting due diligence can’t find anywhere that Say It Lad is a registered charity or Community Interest Company at the very least. This leads me to believe it’s just either been set up by someone incredibly naive who’s about to encounter a whole load of red tape or potentially a front for the “merch” which they sell.
Can anyone shed any light on this? I really hope it’s genuine.

Jungle Mania

I’ve just seen this even at the Waterfront next month, who’s up for it?
I’m 50/M, relatively new to the city and used to be a raver in the early 90’s. This reminds me of a lineup from AWOL at the Paradise Club in 93/94!
