Hi! Does anyone know how each of these works? I’m especially curious about the ones that say Voice Only Call Does the camera not show at all and it’s just voice? I know the cam call is set up from the main page, but how do you set up the voice-only call?

Has anyone else noticed that their facial expressions have changed because of the things they do on cam? I started lifting my upper lip to make my lips look sexier, like doing that little pouty kissy face, and now I catch myself doing it unconsciously even when I'm not on cam 😭 People have actually started asking me what's wrong with my lip, and I'm like wait, what do you mean? 😂 Apparently, I've gotten so used to doing it on cam that it's become a habit in real life too, and honestly, I think it's starting to bother me a little lol
girls who work at Streamate help me by guiding me on what I should do if I made a small, unintentional mistake in the middle of a private chat? Where could I write or report my mistake, or should I wait for them to tell me something about it so I can clarify? I'm afraid they'll close my account, so I want to apologize and clarify that it was unintentional.
This guy is driving me crazy. You might be wondering why, well, it turns out he used to be my best user. He would spend hours with me in private. We obviously talked, and things would get hot too, but after talking and talking and talking with him so much, he started confusing that connection with something more. I was always clear about it. This is virtual, but this guy completely lost it and would get really jealous whenever I was nice to someone else. Even when I’m kind and affectionate with other users, he does things like this. He lowered my rating, and that really messed me up emotionally.And you might be thinking, “Why don’t you just block him?” Well, I do block him, and he creates another account. I block him, and he creates another account.
I’ve always thought it was weird when someone joins my room and leaves literally a second later. I don’t even have time to say hi before they’re gone.
Lately it’s been happening with some of my regulars too. When they come back later I’ll be like “hey I saw you yesterday but you left right away” and a few of them have told me they never joined. At first I just thought they were lying.
But then it happened with a regular who’s actually a good friend of mine. We were talking on Instagram at that exact moment and I asked him why he came in and left so fast. He was like “I swear I never joined, we’ve been talking this whole time.” That made me think maybe something else is going on.
I also don’t get why someone would join and leave that fast because I don’t even think they have enough time to actually see my face lol.
So now I’m wondering if Streamate is doing something weird in the background. Is there already some kind of preview where users can see us without joining the room? Or does the site sometimes make it look like people entered when they actually didn’t?
Has anyone else noticed this or am I just overthinking it?
I've always wondered something. When people say summer is really slow, is it actually slow for established models too, or am I mostly seeing posts from those of us whose accounts dropped for one reason or another?
For example, if you have a well ranked account and consistently make about the same income every month, do you actually notice a significant drop during the summer?
It's extremely slow for me right now, but I don't think my experience is very objective because I just came back from a long vacation, so it's obvious my account needs time to recover. I'm curious whether this slowdown is something everyone experiences or if it's mostly account-related.
Okay, so here I am making another post to vent. I’ve seen some girls get offended when others complain, but I’m honestly just sharing my experience. Maybe I’ll find someone going through the same thing so we can cry together, or maybe someone who made it through and can share a success story.
I went on vacation for a month. Before I left, my traffic was really good and I was happy. But when I came back, a lot of things changed. I returned feeling unmotivated. It almost felt like I had left the camming world behind, and getting back into it has been much harder than I expected. I have no motivation, and it’s been a very personal struggle.
I went on vacation to visit my mom, and now I miss her so much.
And the traffic… oh my God, the traffic has been painfully slow. I’ve also been struggling to get out of bed and gt back into my routine.
If anyone has any advice on how to recover from the huge drop in earnings after taking a long break, I would really appreciate it. It’s so frustrating to work hard for years, finally take a well deserved vacation, and then come back to such a noticeable drop in traffic and income. It honestly makes taking time off feel scary.

Hi girls, quick question does anyone here use an iPhone as a webcam for Streamate?
I work on Streamate and I can’t afford a better webcam right now, so I tried using my iPhone 14 with IVCam installed on both my phone and computer. The image quality looked amazing, but I was connected through Wi-Fi and the bitrate was super unstable. It kept going up and down and my connection looked really slow.
I’m thinking maybe using a data cable would fix the problem. Does anyone here use their phone this way and can confirm if a cable connection makes it stable?

Something has been happening to me: a user starts spending money, is nice, and then begins asking for my phone number. I’ve always had a principle, which is that I won’t take users off the site because the site is what brought them to me, and that’s where I need to keep them. But these guys get upset and don’t come back.
That’s when I start thinking about looking for an option, like having a separate phone number just for these guys, always trying to do some kind of marketing even through WhatsApp but still redirecting them back to the site so they spend there. But what if they don’t come back? I feel like, one way or another, I’m losing money, whether it’s outside or inside the site.
