Anyone else??

The 2 most important bands of my lifetime (aside from The Beatles).

Anybody on here a fan of both?

Are pellet/gravity grills boring to you?

I recently snagged a cheap Masterbulit Autoignite on FB marketplace. Thing has functioned perfectly for about a dozen cooks.

However, I don’t love the “set and forget” grilling process. Coming from a kettles and barrels…I just want some more futzing around/fire management action. Typically, I sit outside and listen to tunes with a cold can and I need more excitement or something, if that makes sense.

Anyone else feeling that way too? Ha

Any ideas for a fix to this?

Inherited this fair condition 22” for free. Pretty standard refurb job except I can’t think of a way to attack the handle. It is not loose, but there are 1/8” air gaps surrounding the area of concern.

I’ve got 2 other functioning 22”’s, so I’ll use it for direct grilling or with a vortex for the time being. Just wanted to see if there are any ideas for a (relatively cheap) fix.

This Journey song sounds like Jane’s. Back Talk

Don’t ask me why I was listening to old obscure Journey tracks…but when this one came on I was like holy shit that sounds like a Jane’s cut. Steve Perry’s vocals even.

I’m sure I’ll get a lot of nopes, but it’s pretty wild, IMO. Who would have known?!?

Has this lil’ YJ gem been discussed?

Know the fellas sussed out the official Row-bee pronunciation (can’t remember exactly the way JD explained how) but I saw this 45 while deep diving Discogs and giggled.

Yacht Jesus- delicious hot, disgusting cold.

Old, tough baby backs ribs

Did a low and slow baby back rack this weekend.

Rubbed and put on the smoker at 250 as always. After an hour, the ribs were curled and super tough/dry looking.

They had a lot of deep red meat on them with very little fat and long bones.

Tried to save them 3-2-1 style (usually don’t wrap at all) but it didn’t work. Ended up throwing them in a crock pot with a can of beer and some broth and onions but still came out rubbery.

Anyone experience this before? Is it meat from older hogs? That’s kind of what I’ve read on-line. Usually do spares but the baby’s were on sale this weekend and never had anything like this happen with them in the past.
