I made my own box this time. Inspired by weird shaped bandsaw boxes

First attempt at a banana display box. It really adds style to your average banana. Multi color LED makes it suitable for all occasions

Made my first attempt for a Father’s Day gift and it snapped the wood before stringing. This is attempt number 2. Strung to 40 lb of tension. It’s awful to play with but it works.

Made my first attempt for a Father’s Day gift and it snapped before stringing. This is attempt number 2. Made 1/16inch thick strips of walnut and ash, steamed, bent and clamped around a mold. Strung to 40 lb of tension. I played with it the other day and can confirm it is fully functional tennis racket. The racket press seen in the first picture is made from walnut and keeps the wood from warping

I can’t tell if it’s intentional but I’m having trouble getting it flush with the chip breaker and depth adjustment. Any advice is appreciated

I used tried and true original but had a similar issue using spray on shellac on a different bowl.
