Looks pretty good in a frame. Just gotta make room on the wall now.

I personally dig the tour poster. I can see the complaints for sure, but it does go well with the other posters. My 2025 tour poster is back in Oregon, but I scored a green one and a foil version.

Dug out my first print, first editions of Absolute Batman. Some of my favorite covers for issue 1. All bought as preorders before the release.

I paid $14.99 for the signed edition by Dragotta and Snyder from third eye. That same signed comic just sold for $600 today on their website.

The Sean Murphy variant I paid $24.99, which at the time seemed astronomical to me lol. Oh how times have changed.

Got my second Brand New inspired tattoo. “When I grow up, I want to be a heretic.”

The calf was mostly easy but some spots were legit brutal. I have my shin and knee covered so I’ve experienced some painful work, and some of these spots were close to the same pain level.

We are going to add a little more flame on the left side to help fill the gap a bit, but otherwise I love it. Been obsessed with the woodcut/wood etching medieval designs.

I actually got selected! I officially own a Felix Comic Art exclusive book. Absolute Batman #22, the Nick Dragotta Foil variant!

I also got selected for both variants of the Ryan Sook variant but I really only wanted this one. Holy crap it actually happened.

Edit. Bought the Ryan Sook foil variant also, figured it was worth it since I won the lottery pull.

Absolute Batman #22 Felix Comic Art Variant by Nick Dragotta and another one by Ryan Sook. Lottery opens tomorrow at noon EST.

Felix Comic Art has switched to a lottery based system, thank god. They also increased the print runs to 3k instead of 1k. You can enter for multiple lotteries and covers (foils, etc). Winners will receive an email and have 24hrs to pay or it’s offered to the next lottery pull.

Felix Comic Art has updated their purchasing system to a lottery, and increased print runts to 3k.

From the email I just received-

Here's the big change you've been asking for. These are dropping through a brand-new fair-shot draw system called EQL, built to shut out the bots and scalpers and get these books into the hands of real fans. No more blink-and-it's-gone. No more losing out in the first 8 seconds to a bot.
How it works now: instead of first-come-first-served, you enter for a chance to buy. When the drop opens, you enter. When it closes, winners are randomly selected and get the chance to purchase. Everyone gets an equal shot. Being fast doesn't matter anymore. Being entered does.

When and where:
The lotteries go live Monday 8/17/26 at 12:00PM ET and close that same day at 3:00PM ET. Watch for our email Monday when the lotteries go live. That's your signal to enter. (The books live at shop.thirdeyecomics.com/collections/felix-comic-art-variants, but the lottery entries don't open until Monday at 12PM ET, so there's nothing to enter yet.) Once they're live, you've got the full 12 to 3PM window, so don't stress about racing to enter. As long as you're in before 3PM, you have an equal shot.

Two important things to know now:
Each version is its own separate lottery, and you can enter each one once. Want a shot at the Dragotta Foil AND the Sook Cardstock? Enter both. Four versions means up to four separate entries, one per lottery. And if you luck out and win more than one, you're good, you get each book you won. (Just remember, no one can enter the same lottery more than once.)

This is a brand-new system for all of us. It's what you asked for, and we're excited, but please be patient as we launch it. It may not be perfect out of the gate.
Mark your calendar: entry links go live Monday 8/17 at 12PM ET. Read the full rundown below so you know exactly how it works and what to do if you win.
See you Monday!

FELIX COMIC ART DROPS: HOW IT WORKS
This is a brand-new system, and it's what YOU asked for.
You told us the bots and instant sellouts were killing the drops. We listened. We're now using EQL, a draw-based system built to get these books into the hands of real human beings, not bots and scalpers. Because it's new, we're asking for your patience as we all learn it together. It may not be perfect out of the gate, but it's a big step toward fairness.
It's a DRAW, not a race.
Instead of first-come-first-served, you enter for a chance to buy. When the drop closes, winners are randomly selected and get the chance to purchase. Everyone gets an equal shot, and being fast makes no difference.

THE 3 THINGS YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO KNOW

1. Entering is FREE. You are NOT charged to enter.
When you enter, no card is charged. You'll get a confirmation email right away confirming you're in. That email means you entered. It does not mean you bought anything.
2. You only pay IF you win.
After the draw closes, winners get an email with a payment link. That's when you complete your purchase. No payment link means you weren't selected this time (and you were never charged).
3. If you win, you MUST pay within the time window shown, or you lose it.
Your payment link has a clearly shown deadline (24 hours). Miss it and your order is automatically cancelled and the book goes to the next person. This is the most important thing: watch your email and pay promptly if you win.

Medieval woodcut Wendigo design by Sasha Black at Outsider Tattoo shop in Asheville, NC.

This is 2 weeks healed now. The shin was brutal for me personally. This one took about 5 hours total (took a couple smoke breaks). Sasha is an insanely talented artist, and it’s been fun bringing weird ideas for him to work into these amazing designs. I have a burning heretic in the works, along with a massive piece we are doing this winter, a woodcut piece of the four horseman of the apocalypse on my chest.

Limited print of 350, Nick Dragotta’s cover for issue #15, 24x36 poster. Scored one today!

They still have a few left at https://bottleneckgallery.com/products/nick-dragotta-absolute-batman-15

The foil variant sold out. I totally forgot they went on sale at noon today. I checked at 11am and then work got in the way of my fomo purchase. Still scored the non foil though, hopefully I’ll get it signed at a convention in the future!

Edit. This one just sold out also

Some of my prized possessions my wife is currently packing up for our move across the country!

I moved to North Carolina from Portland Oregon last summer, and most of my comic collection has been at my house in Oregon, along with my wife. I moved due to work relocating out here and having me open a new facility. Now we have decided to fully move out here in November (my wife has been flying back and forth the past year). Today she sent me some pics while packing!

So excited to finally have the other half of my Absolute Batman collection here soon. I have another 10-12 variants of the first print, first edition of Absolute Batman as well. The Sean Murphy cover was a Third Eye Comics exclusive, limited to 500 prints! I accidentally bought the Dragotta cover A multiple times, to the point I nearly gave some away to coworkers. So glad I held on to them!

New merch and poster landed! Disregard posts and previous complaints on shirt quality, these are great!

I got 154/225 on the print, another one lands tomorrow that I’m gifting to a friend. Just gotta get this one hung up!

Most of my stuff is still in Oregon, I moved to NC last summer, so this is all I have for merch at the moment. Mom’s Skate Club poster from the Nashville show last December, and a Leaked Demos poster from the record drop. My FOYD chrome and green tour posters from their last tour are still hanging up in Oregon :(

The shirts are all excellent quality material and prints. I got three of the new ones, the UFO print, the poster comic print, and the 20 year anniversary TDAG shirt

The Hand of Doom!

Got my first Brand New tattoo finally! Turned out fantastic! I’ve wanted a neck tattoo for about a decade now, but I swore to myself to wait until I turned 40. I kept my promise! Huge shoutout to Outsider tattoo shop in Asheville, NC! And especially to Will @meccaink the artist that made it happen!

Mail call! Got my Dustin Nguyen issue #22 cover, and of course, the Dexter Soy cover set for issue #22

I absolutely adore Dustin Nguyens work, Descender is one of my all time favorite comics, and his art really made it something extra special. And since discovering Dexter Soy, I’ve started swooping his variants for Absolute Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman.

Absolute Batman #21 Third Eye exclusive foil variant, signed by Nick Dragotta!

It’s actually a legit full-foil cover! Woot!

u/enjoiYosi — 3 months ago

Third Eye Comics has signed books with both, Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta, available for sale. I finally scored one!

They have multiple covers available signed by both Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta! Very stoked to finally get some covers signed by both, as all of mine either have Dragotta or Snyder, solo. They are a bit expensive at $59.99 for both signatures, but worth it for me.

Dexter Soy variant for issue 21, The Shining homage cover. This dude knocks it out of the park with these covers

Too scared to fold out the entire cover at the moment lol. Loving the 3 pack sets, I do wish the Dexter Soy foil variants were a fully foil cover though. So far all of them are spot foils, but most of the other artists I’ve purchased have a fully foil/chrome cover

Dexter Soy covers for the win! Issue 21 finally arrived (still waiting for the Shining homage cover to get delivered)

I also scored all the A/B covers obviously;)
