New Gas station Gold Hill and Pleasant

This gas station looks like it's about to open but it's looked that way since I moved here in Early March. I wonder what the hang up is.

Store bought dough

I just bought a chefman pizza oven and looking forward to my first pie! Question, I bought store bought refrigerated pizza dough and it's 16 ounces. Is that more than enough for a 12" pizza? Too much? I bought mozzarella (shredded), tao's pizza sauce, diced ham, flour and some cornmeal mix. I think I have everything I need.

What difference would there be if I use all 16 ounces of the dough using the "neopolitan" vs the "new york" pizza settings? I understand the latter is lower temp but longer cook time. Will the pizza come out the same at either setting?

First time indoor pizza oven recommendations

Hello. Looking for a solid and competitively priced indoor pizza oven. I want an oven that will cook a 14” pie and also want one that will cook a home made pizza and a frozen one.
I saw Piezano has good reviews but I’m concerned the top of a frozen pizza would touch the heating elements and thus not viable.
This is my first time getting one so any tips are welcomed.
Also I see one can buy pre made dough at the store. Is one dough meant for one 14” pizza or larger?

Travel Credit question

I booked a one way LHR-CLT for December several months ago. I applied about $700 in existing travel credit then my CC for the balance (about $400). Anyway I'll probably cancel this and use miles instead. I sent AA a PM to X, and they said yes of course you'll get the full credit back as a trip credit (original travel credit + cc spent for $1100). Then they said "however there is a $150 change fee should you decide to use that credit to re-book". Huh? If I'm canceling a ticket then using that credit starting from scratch to book a new flight LHR-CLT why would I be subject to a "change fee"? Perhaps this is for non EXP's? Am I missing something obvious?

Fellow passenger misses connection

Today I was on 2907 to O’Hare. We all know what a cluster that airport is with taxi times etc. We took off on time but due to weather we had to circumvent the flight was even longer. The original ETA was 1643 and we pulled into H11 at 1730 (30 minutes taxi).
The lady next to me was visibly upset. She told me her flight to NAP was leaving at 1724 and an OTD.
She obviously missed it. Even if the stars were aligned and arrived at 1643 that would be very rare. I felt sorry for her because she probably either doesn’t travel much or just plain clueless. She chose a way too risky connection for an overseas once a day flight. Worse, AA sold it to her as I’m sure technically it met ORD’s international MCT.
I told her speak to an agent to get her routed on a later AA flight to Heathrow where BA get can her to Naples. I also told her push for an IB flight via MAD.
Why someone would book such a tight connection is mind boggling.

Window shade - who has control.

Just took my seat in 2F and opened this shade.
1F just took his seat, arched back, and promptly shut it.

Fishing at Katherine Lake @ Ann Springs

Has anyone fished here before? I went today for the first time and threw everything I had out there for an hour and not even a strike. Even the trusted rooster tail did nothing. They say it's stocked with catfish, bass and bream. Perhaps they stocked it once in 1989 🙄

What a disappointment. I went fishing of dam road where Lake Wylie is (the boat ramp) and caught a decent sized largemouth but the traffic/people are in the way so it's not practical. Anyone recommend a decent place to fish? I just moved here in April.

Thanks!

Help me pick a cruise line

Hello looking for a 3-4 night max Caribbean cruise over the Thanksgiving weekend. I have taken only one cruise before and it was virgin voyages but want to try another line.
Here’s what I’m looking for:

  1. Modern newish ship
  2. Nothing even remotely close to what I’ve seen on YouTube carnival cruises vibe.
  3. Solo traveler and want a balcony room.
  4. Great gym
  5. Late night dining options
  6. Bahamas shore excursion where I can scuba dive?

Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thank you.

LHR-Ashford

Headed to visit family there next week from CLT. My mom indicated there will be a tube strike so piccadilly line to kings cross is out. Anyway fine no worries I'll take the lizzie line. When I go on the journey planner on tfl I can get an Elizabeth line routing but it's making me change at Farringdon station then Thames link train to st pancras. Before I have taken the lizzie line right to Stratford and caught the fast SE service to Ashford Int'l. Am I doing something wrong?
I then tried southeastern's website and it didn't even give me an lizzie routings just HEX to paddington and tube to san pancras. ugh.
