A common mistake I see is treating a portfolio like a gallery instead of proof of your skills.

Don't just upload your work. Rather, add context:

What was the goal? What problem did you solve? What tools did you use? What was the outcome or result?

A simple explanation can make an average project stand out and help recruiters understand the value you bring.

The biggest lesson? You only have 2–3 seconds to grab your audience's attention. If your hook isn't strong enough, most people will scroll past before seeing the rest of your video.
