There are children alive today who's parents weren't born when the first MCU film, Iron Man (2008), was released. This is a reference to you being old as fuuuuuccckkkkk!!!

Absolute Booster Gold

I know Booster Gold technically already exists in the Absolute universe, but this is my idea for an original version of the character.

Michael John Carter is already a super-hero in the 25th century, and the most famous man in the world. But after a decade of the press and public prying into his private life every second of the day, he's sick of all the attention. The parasocial relationships he's unintentionally cultivated online have made things worse than ever.

Deciding that the only real freedom he can ever have is in anonymity, he steals a time machine and travels back to the 21st century, long before he's born, and where no one will know who he is.

But the 21st century is even worse than the history books of Carter's time claimed. He can't ignore it forever. But knowing that he could fall into the trap of fame and fortune again, he has to do it all as discreetly as possible.

What do you think?

In Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone (2001), Professor McGonagall can turn into a cat. But she could never turn into a man. Absolutely not. No way. JK Rowling said so. It's totally impossible. Rowling said it's anti-science.

In The Wizard Of Oz (1939), Dorothy chooses to walk to the Emerald City, despite Wicked (2024) showing there was a train that went directly to the city centre. This is because she is American, and therefore does not understand quality public transport.
