12v drain stopped on Aug 12th?

I got my 2026 C-HR mid May. Shortly after I started reading about the parasitic drain on the BZ and Uncharted subs. I installed an Ancel bm200 beginning in June and confirmed I too had the drain. At the time the fix was to turn off DCM which I did by removing my car from the app. 12v drain stopped.

I never had the battery die. I drive the car 20-60 miles daily. I am located in the US.

August 9th I decided to get an upgraded H5 AGM battery so I could turn DCM back on. I was going to do the charging schedule hack but was monitoring to see what the drain looked like with the AGM. And scheduling wise I was trying to figure how I'd do it cause I change at work and I can't have an interrupt on their charger or else charging stops and won't reinitialize. I'm also on Android so the locking hack was more difficult, I was attempting to vibe code a solution.

Then on August 12th like others are reporting on the BZ/Uncharted subs, the sawtooth drain stopped. it's now been 6 days without drain.

I did see drain on the 10th and 11th after the battery change and turning DCM back on. So I don't think the drain stopped because of a reset of battery/DCM.

My app hasn't updated edit since the 8/3* and doesn't look like the car updated either. The best explanation I saw in the BZ sub was maybe they did a server side up update.

Either way I hope the fix is in and everyone sees an end to it.

Recent upgrades

Recently upped my service to 200 amp, new panel, ev charger and Solix f3800+ with Smart Power Panel. Love the way this works. Instantly switches to battery backup if the grid goes down and leaves all kinds of room for expansion.. more batteries, solar panels, generator bypass. Super excited.

Picked up my C-HR XSE today

Drove 90 miles to Milwaukee to pick it up. Traded in a 2016 Civic EX-T Coupe, loved the Honda but it had taken a beating in the last month, rear ended, a week later caught a rock from a dump truck and cracked the wind shield. Still got $9k on trade. Got 0% on the CHR. My work has free to use level 2 chargers. Just seemed like the right move. Super excited.

This looks odd to me. The border on the sign, the sign stake and if real why would such a sign be necessary

I understand naming a trail, but a picture of the trail you're currently standing in front of? I don't know why but if this sign is real it bothers me.
