Hello, i have to remplace a truss rod nut from a Cort b4 bass with a spinned truss rod nut but the only problem it's that I dont know the size of the truss rod nut i need to buy .
I know the truss rod nut from fender are not in the standard size worldwide.
From your experience what are the most common truss rod nut size used in brand like : ibanez , cort, Imported instrument from Asia.
etc.. etc... Anything it's not from fender .
When I mean size i mean external dimension of the truss rod nut and screw size of the trussrod ( M5, M6 etcc)

I already have a really good Multi effects so im not interested in amp with integreted effects.
the only thing i want it's a very good sounding amp combo with at minimum 100watts power .
until now i have played on the multieffects but im tired of it and i want to shake the house.
ps: Im looking for something i dont need to upgrade because im a one man band in my room so i try too be wise with money
Hello I have find a 500 bucks bass for 150 bucks
It's a used bass and the sellers say that have issue because the trussrod are with a stripped head ( were you turn the trussrod)
I am a DIY guy and I never let touch my instrument by any luthier/technician if it's not for the nut .
How can I recognise the diagnosis of the problem ?
If the trussrod have only stripped head ?
If the trussrod it's broken or not ?
If I need to remplace the trussrod ?
In every scenario I will buy it because the hardware alone cost a lot so in the worst scenario i need to order a custom neck from a sellers.
But I need t to diagnosis the issue . How can I do that ? I dont have ruller for bass neck relief because I never buy a bass , i always play it borrowed because nobody want to do the bassist.
What tool i need to do a propre diagnosis in the house of the seller ?
And what should I look for ?
