The user can temporarily borrow another person's quirk only if they willingly give permission. Physical contact is required, usually palm-to-palm or a fist bump. Once permission is consciously accepted by both sides, a “link” forms.

Once a link is established the user can use the quirk for 15 minutes, if the original user of the quirk dies while a link is still established the user gains full access to the quirk full-time.

The user can only use one permanently borrowed quirk at a time and rapid switching between them causes severe migraines
