Today I brought a board game im very like to my office. The group agree to play until someone mentioned monopoly right before we about to play.
And everyone start to talking about it and one by one they exciting to play. They asked me do i want to play and i never want to ruin someone's mood so i lied that i forgot my game at home. Cry on my way back home.
Im so nervous, any advice... I felt like im having an graduate exam..

This is the second year i developing my own card/ chip game. I about to participate in Road to Essen boardgame design contest in Vietnam. Just want to show you all my little achievements. I bought those plastic chips for 4$ and print my own card.

At least with all pp I know, they rarely play the actual card game but more about collecting. Is this a cultural thing or the card game is just bad..
My friend groups play each week but they're no open to other titles except what I mentioned above. How can I explain to them?
