I am considering going to AnimeNYC for the first time with some friends!! I watch a lot of anime and read a fair bit of manga, however, most of the cosplays I've done tend to not be from anime (not intentional)
would it be considered rude to go as someone from a video game or animated media that isn't made in Japan? my friends and I are considering doing a jrpg group cosplay and i also just like to re-wear cosplays but won't do either if it's not the vibe ya know
