DOJ Epstein hearing phone line inaccessible today, August 13th. Has anyone been able to access it?

The DOJ said there would be an epstein files hearing today, August 13th, at 1 PM. The phone line is at the number 1 (833) 990-9400 and the meeting password is 712190216. I tried calling in using the meeting number and was not given access. This was supposed to be publicly accessible.

I looked at the instagram post i heard about this from and there were over a hundred comments from the last 10 minutes saying the exact same thing; they couldn’t access the phone line for the hearing. I’m posting this about 15 minutes about the hearing starting.

Does anyone know about this? Has anyone else tried to access it or been able to access it?

i have been living with two strangers i met online for about a year now. i really like them both and i would like to be friends, but i feel as though the contrivances of roommate life have created resentment between us. i have also tried to balance the desire to be friends with them with the desire to give them space / have space from them. i think this may have been interpreted as standoffishness or distaste.

one of their friends is a very talented and notable painter. my roommate is very close with them and has described themselves as their “muse”; regularly being featured as the subject of their oil paint portraits. i feel pretty sure that my roommate has badmouthed me to them. as a result, i have seen this painter in public quite a few times and they don’t greet me or acknowledge me despite knowing who i am.

they recently posted a painting that felt like a reference to a ghostly, apparition - like roommate (the painting also featured my roomate and our living room) and i assumed it was about me. i made a post about it on my private instagram story, explaining the situation and explaining how i felt willfully misunderstood and demonized by these people, as well as everything else I’ve already mentioned here. i learned through a mutual friend of ours that the painting was started before i ever moved in, so it had nothing to do with me. however, this mutual “friend” shared the story post i made from my private account with the painter.

today, at work, i saw this painter again and greeted her. she said, in the most sarcastic voice possible “hi! it’s so good to see you again!”. it was so obvious that she had sarcasm, distaste, and resentment in her voice that it made me physically recoil. i checked on instagram to see that they have blocked me.

i now feel as though i have an influential enemy in the art world (specifically in my city, too) because of something i said to friends in confidence. i am an artist myself so i feel this effects me deeply. i am considering reaching out through her websites’ contact email and explaining myself / apologizing. how should i handle this situation? should i try making amends with my roommates and / or this artist, or is it too far gone?
