Expedia and the WestJet strike

Curious if anyone dealt with something similar. I booked through my Expedia points and was impacted by the strike. I was rebooked for 5 days later, and my husband wasn’t rebooked at all. I couldn’t miss work, and worried he wouldn’t be rebooked in time, so we spent $2.5k CAD each on a return flight. 🤯

I’ve now spent 15+ hours between WestJet and Expedia trying to understand the problem with refunding me for the initially cancelled return flight. WestJet wasn’t even taking calls for days, and the live chat was totally full. When I get someone, they say Expedia has to refund me, and vice versa.

Long story short, Expedia said WestJet needed to open the ticket and send it back to them to process a refund. I called WestJet asking for this multiple times and they said no, Expedia had to call themself. So I wait 3 hours on the phone while they do just that, and now the ticket finally was opened.

However they’re saying I needed to claim this by August 9th. I’ve been calling Expedia about opening the ticket since at least the 4th. Now they need me to call and wait another god knows how many hours on the phone line while they call WestJet and ask if I can get a refund. Wtf? So who is in charge of the refund???

Any help navigating this/if I’m missing anything would be greatly appreciated. 🙏🏻

I’m going to cancel my credit card and never use Expedia after this. Same goes for WestJet.

Do you need to be on antibiotics while on Hiprex?

My ND who is trained in the Ruth Kriz method recommended Hiprex after multiple failed antibiotic treatments, one of which recently I was taking biofilm disruptors for six weeks for. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Some things positively shifted on my MicroGen test, but I’m still dealing with the gnarly kleb and E. coli. I don’t think this is prescribed in Canada where I am, so I’ll have to look into getting it online.

However, my question is do I also need to be on antibiotics at the same time? Is this enough? My poor gut. And the fear of the dreaded painful, acidic urine. I’m working with a pelvic floor physiotherapist on hypertonicity, and I’m trying to only urinate every two hours, so I hope this won’t be an issue on the medication.

He also suggested that I take uva ursi leaf during the course of treatment, which will be three months. I’m on some other herbal’s right now for h.pylori (done in two weeks), and have a probiotic he approved.

Somatic IFS retreat

Has anyone ever been to the somatic IFS retreat by Susan McConnell? I was accepted and am on the fence due to the cost. If anyone can share their experience, it would be extremely valuable and greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
