tasting with owner / winemaker

My wife and I went to a couple amazing tastings last week in Sonoma / Healdsburg where the winemaker/owner hosted us. We are wondering which wineries folks would recommend in Napa that could give us a similar experience. We don't care about views or how nice the facilities are.

We drink reds (cabs, zins, etc). Usually we prefer wines that are balanced and can age.

Huge plus if the winery waives fees with bottle purchase and/or wine club membership.

Any ideas for us?

fruit focused cookbook

Anyone have a recommendation for a book that has fruit (e.g. mangos, pineapples, peaches, etc) as the centerpiece of many recipes (e.g. braises, sauces, curries, etc). Ideally not a vegetarian cookbook.

lunch and dinner recs for bday weekend

Hi - Wife and I are visiting Healdsburg this weekend (staying at Appellation) and hoping to get a restaurant recommendation. For night #1, we are planning on Folia at the hotel. Then for night #2, we were considering Madrona or Matheson or Dry Creek Kitchen (though given that we're already eating at Folia we figured it might be similar and would skip). Thoughts?

Haven't made any breakfast/brunch plans just yet but sounded like we might want to explore Troubadour and/or Quail and Condor. Same owners so we were wondering if there's too much overlap. Thoughts?

healdsburg winery recs

My wife and I typically go to Napa but wanted to explore healdsburg. We drink reds (cabs, zins, etc) and are favorite in Napa is Ghost Block (lots of great wines between $50-$120 a bottle). We've also enjoyed Gargiulo.

Huge plus if we the winery waives fees with bottle purchase and/or wine club membership.

I've heard we might want to check out: Hawkes, Calluna, Mauritson, and/or Unti.

Was wondering whether folks had experience doing tastings at these wineries and what it was like.

I've heard Hawkes, A Rafanelli, or Porter Creek might be good options. I've already been to Ridge. Any thoughts on the quality of wine at these and/or others in healdsburg?

cdrama recs for someone new to the genre

Been watching kdramas for a little while now and recently watched pursuit of jade and am now hooked! i generally prefer romantic comedies where the romance is but one of the a few central themes. so it must have a strong plot with suspense beyond the romance. some k dramas I've liked include:
- crash landing on you
- queen of tears
- my mister (not a romance but loved the character development and introspective look into human nature

What are your all time most watch c dramas?
