I saw a post recently on this sub and it made we want to ask this forum.

You’re trying to date someone. Let’s call that person X for ease. X being married is their commitment to their partner. Are you obligated to find out if X is married, if X is an open marriage etc? What if you do find out that they are just cheating on their partner but you aren’t looking for anything serious? (no implication that they will leave their partner for you, then cheat on you too)
Do you think you are still obligated to stop dating X, for the sake of their partner? Is that on you? What if you do try to find out but X just lies to you?

Points for consideration:

1. Sisterhood. If you and the partners are both women and it implies you look out for each other.
2. Respecting social contracts- married and monogamous means they aren’t ‘available’. Is the obligation on them to maintain their monogamy or you? If X is male and you are required to do this, isn’t that misogyny? ‘Men will be men and women are required to police themselves to keep society going.’

Just curious. Has anyone from subbreddits like this one ever gone from lonely to not so lonely anymore?

(I understand it might be the wrong place to ask but where else can I?)

1. Eggs were used like shampoo in Edwardian times and a few youtubers have supposedly tried it out and found success. I’ve heard my mother and grandmother use it as a hair pack but never as a shampoo- but I’m willing to try it.

2. Vinegar. As shampoo

3. I know of Indian herbal products for hair care/wash. So let’s leave that out of this list because it’s well known.

What other shampoo alternatives/traditional hair wash products do you know about? Have you had success with any of this?
