Hi, my senior year starts in a few weeks and I found a really good last-minute deal on a nice apartment across from campus with everything I need to succeed and more (gym, study rooms, clubhouse and rooftop pool etc). I’ve never lived in house but I lived in a satellite this past year and while it was a blast, my gpa suffered tremendously. I also don’t completely know what I want to do after college, but regardless I have to be getting certs in my general field, applying to jobs and attending professional workshops and club meetings. At the same time, I have never lived in house. I’ve heard great stories and terrible stories, but it sounds like something unforgettable. It is a 10-15 minute drive from campus and parking on campus is a bitch, and I get distracted very easily as proven by this past year. I’d also have to share a bathroom again, but that’s really it as far as I know. Do yall think it’s a good idea?

TL;DR the maintenance team in my college apartment has been getting progressively worse and worse. Appliances have broken, and even when I bring people in to look at it they dont do really anything to fix it. I have emailed them and they don't even check that. This is mainly a vent, but if anyone has advice, please feel free to give it to me.

When I moved in to my current apartment I loved it here. I have a corner unit with a tree in front of my window so theres a lot of privacy. I have my own room and bathroom in a 4x4 and we have a nice little private balcony. It's in front of a major road and my upstairs neighbors can be a little loud but it doesn't bother me. But what has bothered me is that maintenance used to fix things and now they don't. It started with our washing machine which began shaking and making so much noise that it woke everyone up at night. Put a maintenance request in and it didn't get fixed. Then the dryer broke, which they replaced. My ceiling fan began making this terrible clicking noise and it still does because they keep resolving my maintenance requests. Then, the sink and dishwasher flooded to the point where it leaked into my downstairs neighbors apartment. When I asked the lady in charge of maintenance to come look at my sink in person, because I didn't trust the maintenance request, she pretended to fix it and it's still broken. I don't know what to do atp. Now my fridge won't close all the way and they refuse to come fix it- my food is lukewarm and I have lost a bit of money because of that. I sent them an email and they never responded. What should I do now, extend it to American Campus corporate office? This is ridiculous. I pay over $1200 a month for this place and its becoming such a shithole

I have a city I've been working on for years, including almost every day this year. I keep on saving it to one slot with cloud, so it's become an impulse for me especially since I only really play that city. Well for once I played on a newer, different city, which I load on occasion. Unfortunately when I was doing save and quit tonight, instead of clicking the existing file, I clicked the file for my many-year city, and now the cloud save for my many-year city might have been overwritten by my newer city. I have some autosaves from february, but I have made so much progress since then so it would suck to have to go back to that. Is there a way to get that save back?
