Saw a ton of cars and some balloons outside the bowling alley area today and they've been tearing up the lot next to it, was there ever any updates on what the connected guy is doing with it?
Manager is scheduling one hour meetings with each person in the team. Every day whatever the magical system says we weren’t in office have to explain why and add a meeting with reason retroactively.
Best part is it doesn’t sync with workday so for half I was actually on vacation and had it there and most of the others it was either different site and 1 or 2 days where I was off on sick. So happy to see we’re being treated like 12 year olds, can’t wait for them to call my parents and tattle on me
I DIYed this last year but looking to redo the hood and possible do a similar circuit look along the sides as well. I’ve tried a few local places but they said they don’t do cut vinyl like this does anyone have some suggestions on who to try (and how much I should expect to spend?)
Hobby lobby by me has recently expanded their 3d printing section. Almost triple the colors and some TPU and other options than just PLA now too. Also have the vacuum bags which I hadn't seen before. Prices were same or cheaper than amazon or other non direct prices as well.
Edit: Yes, I understand hobby lobby evil bad company. Unfortunately when I need stuff fast the other option is Amazon which is just as evil if not more evil. When I can wait a week or more and have the money I order other places unfortunately not always possible. I posted this for others who are in a similar boat at times. I avoid places when and if I can but for money of us boycotting isn't always possible. I understand this is a "want" not a need but the wants are one of the few bits of joy left with all that's fucked in the world right now.
Been around a few stores this morning trying to find some firepit stoker rods and a grate for my coals, anyone know who actually stocks these? I’ve found plenty of fire pits but no one seems to stock the accessories for them. (And yes I would just use a big stick but unfortunately don’t have one)
Still got some tweaking to do this was just a POC to see how I liked it but having a page for quick glance info and buttons without opening an app works out.
I need to find a better layout for the dashboard (open to ideas if anyone has them have 5 blocks to control and 5 camera feeds) but my home assistant integrated module railroad is up and running. This system uses an ESP32 hooked up to some motor controllers that publish to my home assistant MQTT server. Using some python middleware for efficiency and translation since I didn't originally design the MQTT to integrate with home assistant I can control and view my train layout from anywhere. Happy to answer any questions or go more into detail if people are interested.
