heading there later this month for a couple days on our way south of Jaco, anyone been? wondering what kind of wildlife/sea life we’ll see. no stranger to CR, just never been to this part.

will be 100 days on monday and thank the maker i’ve not yet had a relapse, but i saw this in a comment and wanted to pose it to the group. hypothetically, if you were sober for X and had a drink, a bad night with a couple, a rough day etc would you consider that a relapse and start again from zero? would you take it as a mistake, a lesson on what caused the relapse and keep your days as X days plus one mistake? i know AA would consider that a hard stop, because the counting of days is very important to their model, but as we all know AA isn’t the be all/end all of recovery. thoughts?

is it just me noticing it in my group or is there a MASSIVE amount of passive aggression in AA discussion meetings during shares to “avoid” shit talking someone or “cross talking”. like 2 people in the same meeting *clearly* talking shit about each other but it’s “anonymous” and poorly veiled and totally petty and blatant and obvious.
i picked up on it a while ago but today it was almost too much to bear. i have my likes and dislikes about AA and am pretty neutral on it as it’s helped me to some degree but gaddamn today was a rough one 😂

self explanatory, how many times did you try before sobriety finally stuck? i’m just about 10 weeks in and curious about other people’s journeys

paid for two AWZ3 books but don't own a kindle and don't have time to figure all the things out. d/l calibre and all the plugins and it still wouldn't work. anyone want to do it for me? I'll pay lol

saw a guy from my meetings out in public (not from my home group) and wasn’t sure how to proceed. i get the anonymity but how far do we go with it. i didn’t use his name, just gave him the nod and said “what’s up man” and we went along our way. is there a hard and fast rule or is it situation dependent. i’m new to AA so i would like to know so i don’t make a mistake. thanks!!

Looking for recommendations for driveway/parking lot sealing. not happy with the folks that did it the last time so open to who you guys have used and liked/didn't.
