What in the world is with alot of the used prices in my area? People listing their five year old machines for more than what i can get a new leftover for. Do sellers just think no one checks the pricing on these things before they buy? Ugh.
New to reddit, just got these from a black friday order. Bwf, 10", celastic toe, 430 minilug, ordered through bakers and im loving these.
So, were on the market for a 4 seat utv for trail riding with our teenage kids. I used to own a pair of 99 sportsman 500 four wheelers that we bought new and they were the most unreliable piles of crap ive ever had. Every time they hit the trails something was broken. Thankfully we got rid of them a few years ago. Now, were looking for something thats fairly reliable and fun to ride on trails. Were in southwest pa and have alot of riding areas near us, hatfield mccoy is an option, not really any dcnr land nearby, but id like to stay at 64". At one point i had completely sworn off polaris after the two quads, but im not finding much i like. The rmax is incredibly uncomfortable, the commander is ok but i havent read much good on the viscolock, the krx is great but the 4 seater is huge, the talon is ok, but the general is pretty good in the front and back seat. Has the reliability improved since 99? I understand that offroad vehicles have come a long way since 99, but i had a pile of crap 00 gmc and retried the brand for 23 and our car has been 100% flawless. Gm was able to turn it around, has polaris? Ive always been good on changing fluids and general maintenance, but i want to ride more than i wrench. I work out of town and dont want to have to fix the thing every time i come home. Any input? I found a used 2020 xp4 with like no miles on it and it looks new. Should i give polaris a second chance or still avoid at all costs?
