Do therapist ever use Reverse Psychology with clientes?

I’m always suspicious of my therapist using reverse psychology, for lack of a better term, on me to try and motivate me or get me to realize something. In my last session, I think my therapist was trying to get me to realize how my lack of doing things (doing things with people, partaking in a hobby). im trying to do more things on my own but am limited in what I can do not being ably to drive She asked me “what would make this worse” referring to my current mental health situation which is not fantastic.

Is Reverse Psychology a common in tool use by therapists and is she useing it on me to trick me into doing things I otherwise would not do?

Is a socail worker a Solo Theripist?

TLDR:I am wondering if my social worker is working for my psychologist not an indipendent theripist?

I recently started going to the psycolgist because my PCP ask me to. I have not been open to the psycologest about everything that I should be becuase I know they could prescribe me pills that wouldn't be a perment way to solve things and I know some of the pills they just prescribe without telling you the sidefects they can caues.

She gave me to a social worker that I feel more comfterble talking to them about things that I didnt say to my psycologist.I think that she is a theripist that is the first step social worker but is she a thereipst or working for my psycologisct and I might get more meds next time I go to there

I am already on epilepsy meds it might mess things up I dont need more side efects to deal with.

Can epilepsy be passed down genetically?

Ive been very worried while visting my brother house who's two year old im watching while he clears out the trees on his yard. I was diagnosed at four years old and she is going to be two soon is there a chance she will get epilepsy even though she isnt my child? no one in his wifes family has had epilepsy and I was the first in my famlily to get epilepsy so there would be no one else to give it to her.

I went to the library the other day to look for some books and thought I should get something about the history of epilepsy. that there might of been some tea or spice they used to use. When I got there to ask I just made up a story that I needed the info for a paper I was doing for a class. I was just wondering if anyone else feels like ppl will look at you diferntly if you tell them the truth.
