Did couples therapy help you?

My partner and I fight a lot. We are compatible overall, but our conflict styles are so different. He is very logical, and I am emotional. I’ve been working on trying to be more logical but as you know, it’s hard. I don’t feel emotionally safe to share my feelings with him unless they are positive feelings. He doesn’t see anything wrong with the way he treats me, nor does get curious and ask about how I feel etc. Other than this, he is everything I want in a partner and I just wish we could figure how to have conflict in a healthy way. I try to move toward connection when we argue and he is with his foot out the door.

I’ve been asking him to do couples therapy for a while now and he’s finally agreed to do it. I’m just hoping it helps.

Just looking for any positive experiences with that. Thank you!

Edit: we have been together for about a year and a half now.

Oral minoxidil success story

First 5 photos are current, the last 4 are from almost a year ago.

I just wanted to update here to share a success story. I started on oral minoxidil 1.25mg 7/2/25. I have been taking it every night. I have no side effects other than a little extra peach fuzz on my face and got darker hair around my ankle area.

I didn’t notice results for quite a while but I was very patient as I know you should wait 6 months to a year to judge. I’m happy to say that I’ve made a major improvement. Sadly, I didn’t see much difference in my hairline but I think I actually just have a square hairline.

Another interesting thing I noticed is that my eyelashes are on the same cycle now. Meaning, they will be really long for a few months, then they’ll be really short for a few months. Which is annoying because they are like stubs while in the short period! They look really bad. But I’d rather have a full head of hair, and I can just wear lash clusters when I need to.

Another thing to mention is I’ve started focusing more on hair health. So routinely cutting the ends to avoid dead ends. I also stopped bleaching my hair.

Is EZ gel worth it?

Caption pretty much says it all. I’m curious if anyone has had it done either in the under eyes or anywhere on the face. What was your experience? How is healing? Is it worth it?

I’ve been recommended this from a few providers. I’ve heard mixed reviews and just not sure what to do!

Thank you!

Healing from a BA is harder than I thought. Experiencing body dysmorphia.

I am kind of just venting here and looking for people who have gone through the same thing and made it out happy.

I didn’t realize just how hard this recovery would be. I’ve had jaw surgery THREE times and it doesn’t compare to this. I’m not in pain, but it’s uncomfortable for sure.

It’s been so hard to do everything. Sleeping is horrible, I’m a side and stomach sleeper so sleeping on my back is awful. My back hurts every day. I’m just not used to having boobs so I feel so top heavy compared to the rest of my body. My hips feel so small. I can’t go to the gym any time soon, so I can’t improve my lower body. I just feel horrible about myself.

Anyone else been through this? My results look great so I’m not mad about it.

Edit: I’m 13 days post op

Is this normal? Do I just start making videos about random things I own and then try to pitch myself to companies? I tried downloading sideshift but even that requires experience. I made a new TikTok and it has 0 followers. What do I even do? What resources are there that are not people just selling their courses :/?
