Thank you for the suggestions on my last post! I ended up using ball jointed dolls as the base with sculpted heads

I want to make custom dolls of the chippettes because there’s no good dolls of them! They’re so cute and would make great fashion dolls.

I’m having a hard time thinking what brand would be the best base for the body. I thought maybe LOL surprise tween dolls but those are too tall I think. I also thought Na na na dolls but since they’re fabric it might be hard to customize + most of them have socks/fishnets printed on them that I don’t know if I could cover. I want these dolls to be posable

Does anyone have ideas of what brand of doll would be best? I’ll most likely just sculpt the heads myself but if the heads of the dolls fit the chippettes too that would be nice

My process for this was crazy 😭 I tried to boil wash the hair and then blow dried it but the dryer melted the hair together into a big clump! Fortunately it turned out in my favor because I was going for a messy hairstyle. I used a lot of random things from my craft corner, including a balloon for the tube top! Very happy with how she turned out! 🌺
