i believe thats what its called, the plate that will go under the vinyl. the vinyl on my new record player hangs over (i think?) and will that help protect my vinyl in the future? its a retroaudio record player that came with two speakers photo below, any advice appreciated! (except about upgrading said turntable, i like it very much.)
im seventeen and i can legally work now, except majority jobs want me to be eighteen, and my mother refuses to let me work fast food. im stuck in a shit spot because its just my mother and i, and the bills are too high with both of us currently unemployed. i get another check in june but im freaking out nonstop because what if i dont get hired anywhere until im eighteen in july? how are we going to come up with the money?
i really miss covid times, i was in a dingy apartment with my mother, brother and my now dead stepfather and it really was the time of my life. we were poor but i got to be a kid for once with my stepfather in the picture and he made life so fun. i miss my family so bad. life fucking sucks
