Chinese progressive/experimental rock/ music in general

Absolutely adore this album and artist. It's been my most listened to album on Spotify for like 2 years now. However, I'm having a difficult time finding more music in this same category because my music algorithms are not Chinese lol.

Anybody have some great alternative Chinese music to recommend?

Performance difference on high end PC vs Xbox series x and ps5/pro

I've never had the opportunity to play for honor on a beefed up PC. I currently run my setup on an Xbox series x on a 144 hz monitor with a 3 Ms response time.

I wonder if any of you have made the leap from new gen consoles to high end PC gameplay and noticed a smoother and experience/ if it mad an impact on reactions and gameplay.

Khatun is a breath of fresh air and you should play her.

Definitely my favorite character they’ve ever added. She has a high skill floor and an even higher skill ceiling, which gives you a ton of room for skill expression. A lot of characters don’t really bring anything especially unique to the game—which is totally fine, not every character needs some crazy gimmick—but Khatun’s mechanics were implemented almost perfectly.

I actually considered dropping her at first because she’s so damn hard to pick up and immediately start doing well with, but I’m really glad I stuck with her. Once she starts to click, she’s incredibly fun and rewarding.

If you want a character that’s going to take some time to really grow into and master, give her a shot. It’s worth it. Her pick rate is way too fucking low and because all of you are lazy she won't get her fucking hero fest. Please help.

Jurens nerf to his dodge attack seems like a bad change, thoughts?

I'm all for toning Juren down a bit, but this change feels like it completely nuked the viability of his held dodge attack.

It now:

-Only does 16 damage.

-Can't chain anymore.

-Can't be feinted anymore.

-Still gives your opponent a light parry punish if they read it.

I'm struggling to see what situations this attack is actually supposed to be used in now.

Sure, the wider hitbox might make it decent as an external in team fights, but that seems like the only niche it has left. From a risk/reward perspective, the numbers just don't add up. You're essentially choosing between:

landing 16 damage if they expect a tap dodge light, or

eating a 24–28 damage light parry punish if they simply turtle and make the correct read.

Without the ability to feint it, I honestly think they should have left the unblockable property intact so it at least retained some external pressure. Alternatively, let it chain into his offense.

Personally, I think removing either the tap dodge light or the held dodge unblockable would have been a healthier change than gutting the held dodge attack this hard.

What do you guys think? Am I overreacting, or does this move just seem too risky to justify using now?

Pirate is worse than juren by a decent amount even after patch.

How can an unblockable, hyperarmor, guardbreak stuffing, dodge forward heavy FROM NEUTRAL even be in the game? She's been s tier on every tier list besides pro tier lists since launch and she immediately shot up to top tier on pro lists And the only change They mean to that kit was making it to where reaction monsters can't differ that heavy. She shot up from bottom of the list all the way to the top and that was the only change that it needed for it to be considered the best duelist in the game even at pro level play.

Not only is it annoying to deal with, but the existence of this one SINGLE FUCKING MOVE is the entire reason for it made her a tourney pick. If you got rid of it, she would be a terrible character needing a rework. Like how the fuck is every post in here about juren when this shit is in the game? She has objectively been the worst designed character since she's came out. Universally hated or considered broken for years and the developers don't really do anything for it.

This character ruins higher mmr duels or just lobbies in general by trivializing her offence and forcing you into defence. I mean Jesus Christ look how fucking lame this duel is.

Sleep deprivation does numbers on your reaction time.

I know that this is common knowledge but man I didn't realize just how drastic the change would be. We just introduced a little bundle of joy into the family so I've been chronically sleep deprived for a while now and the difference in performance is just night and day and how I can react to things in for Honor.

For a long time now I would hop into training mode and do warmups before playing and just set the bot to throw light attacks. After I parry 15 in a row then I would set it to throw lights and heavies. I used to be able to pass the differ check and do around 9 of them in a row pretty quickly. pre- sleep deprivation. I was still able to differ between lights and heavies about 80 percent of the time but now, Completely different story.

Some days I just straight up Can't even react to 500 Ms lights. Used to be able to just parry 15 in a row easy first try almost every time but now every 4 or so lights I'll mistime it and I can't even do 15 in a row sometimes if the baby was extra fussy the previous night. And differing lights and heavies? That is now a lost art form from me.

Healthy habits go far. You wanna git gud get your 8 hours of sleep and be healthy it's a bigger factor than you think and could be the difference between you being a reaction monster or not.

Why don't they change zhanhus ub light animation?

Like I get that It's a fun little tool to use in ganks but it is so ass. So Easy to react that there's barely any point of it being in the game. Even casual players can differ it.

If they changed the animation at least to where it's not differable between the unblockable heavy, it would be a really fun part of the kit to use in duels. But honestly, 600 Ms gets you parried even in ganks. Is there any point of this attack being in the game? Am I missing something?

How good of a gauge are competitive tier lists by top pro players and streamers for duel.

It seems like a lot of these guys are making tier lists not only just for high level play, but tier lists that are only applicable to the top 0.01% of players anyways. For example, a top player ranked glad as one of the worst duelists in the game due to the fact that if you won the genetic lottery, you can actually react fast enough to differ between his skewer and guardbreak feint.

In the same video, the guy was able to reaction parry amarushas soft feints lights and differentiate between raiders heavy and headtap. Vid here

https://youtu.be/ksSrJZKqo\_0?si=WwSyVbZro84uz71F

How prevalent is this at high level? You telling me you'll get to a point where everybody in your MMR is reaction parrying shamans bleed light or is this kind of thing only really applicable to for honor celebrities.

Why is cent considered to be one of the best duelists in the game.

Low health pool, bashes that are punished by GB on whiffs, after this nerf his highest damaging attack is only 28 damage now. Maybe I just suck at using him but every time I take him into duels I perform well below how I perform with most other characters. Am I missing something here? Any of you guys have some advice?

Is khatun dog water?

Ever since her release, I don't think I've ever lost to one. If I have it is extremely rare. Is she actually bad? I kind of have a general base knowledge of her kit because she's been in the game a while but I don't fully understand her kit. She seems fun to play but the closest anyone ever got to beating me in a duel was the other day which I recorded and it honestly made me want to pick her up.

She seems to be all over the place in tier lists too. Her deflect gimmick seems cool but seems really easy to shut down by just dodging and blocking or guardbreaking.

I'm not claiming to be some for honor God but it seems odd that I never seem to lose to this character and was wondering if one of you wizard sweats has some insight that I may be missing. What are her strengths or weaknesses that set her apart either for upwards or downwards?

People are funny

There are way too many people like this in this community. Everyone wants to talk smack and when you ask them to 1v1 all of the sudden you're beneath them because you aren't rep 500 plus? Flaunting a rank around and reps like it's a gold standard instead of just accepting the request and doing a friendly 1v1? Like seriously, you might be better than someone, but you stand to lose absolutely nothing in a 1v1 you might even make a friend. People like this really make it seem like a clown ass community

Before anybody calls me bad I'm diamond 3 in duels and have been playing the game on and off ever since it came out.

Virtuosa is the only character in the game that consistently makes the game so unfun that I consider taking another hiatus. This character is what happens when the development cycle reaches late stage So the development team gets so desperate for new ideas that they just add something that should not be in the game whatsoever.

Your strat in a team fight is to just sit there in your stance if anybody attacks you then they're going to whiff and you get a free punish off of it. The second that someone starts to focus on you, She gets access to hyper armor heavies with almost no guard break vulnerable Windows so you can't really do that. The only time you can really keep her out of that stance is if you get really lucky and light attack the same time or a little before she lights. And even then a correct read means that she is going to smash you with a hyper armor heavy so it's incredibly risky if the virtuosa is a good player.

This character is an absolute slog to fight in 4s. The virtuosa will always be the last person alive because her stance is so safe that it makes the character child's Play. In duels, certain matchups are straight up undoable. Turns into a ridiculous staring contest every single time and you just better hope that they're brain dead enough to spam light attacks so you can Parry them but at mid to higher level they're smart enough not to do that and mix it up with unblockables and uninterruptable attacks. There should not be a mechanic in the game where the only soft counter to it are undodgeable attacks that not every character has access to. There should not be an all guard that can punish bashes, it's just a mechanic that's too strong to be in this game and you should feel like a chode for using it.
