Hello. Just a question po. I received my BDO Gold Visa credit card last first week of March and activated it on the same day. I immediately made a ₱60,000 purchase to qualify for the ₱5,000 welcome cashback promo.
About two weeks after making that purchase, I enrolled in their Visa Shopping Cashback promo, which required a separate minimum spend of ₱50,000 to get a 2.5k cashback. Unfortunately I was not able to fulfill the said minimum spend to qualify for it.
However, earlier today, a ₱2,500 cashback was credited to my account saying its from their shopping cashback. Since my ₱60,000 transaction was completed well before I even registered for the shopping promo, how did it qualify for the shopping cashback instead of the welcome cashback? Does this mean my transaction was incorrectly tied to the wrong promo, and will I still receive the remaining ₱2,500 from my ₱5,000 welcome reward?"
